I can't comprehend how someone could be so desperate for an X1 (or any console for that matter) to pay £5000, surely you can just wait for more stock?
Unless you are an oil tycoon then this makes no sense.
After the patch to lock the PS4 version to 60fps (it was running over 60fps) the PS4 will be prettier and just as smooth as the X1.

That's my main gripe too. Sure, it may be cool, but is it $100 more cool? Is the novelty of using it going to wear off like it did with the previous Kinect? I don't particularly want to pay £80 more than a PS4 for an X1 with Kinect, but i am going to. Thank goodness for Ebay.

Pretty much. I have no idea why the X1 only runs this game at 720p.....it should be able to do with with ease, surely?

It probably is yeah, but it sounds like its better at doing the same non-gaming things that the Kinect for 360 did such as better voice recognition, more accurate, faster. But it's still limited in terms of in-game actions such as walking, running. interacting with NPC's and objects. It will never reach the level of ease and speed that the controller offers.

But the part i said about it being a good decision to not make it 1080p still stands, framerate dips into the teens at 900p is bad enough, 1080p would have made it even worse.

For the UI and basic app gestures maybe, but not for games. The controller still wins when it comes to playing videogames, Kinect just can't do what a controller does in that aspect with as much ease and speed and i doubt it ever will.

Ive been watching 64 player conquest matches on YouTube so i assume it's fixed.
I think they are still going to do that yeah and i think that difference between the PS plus version and the retail version is a few cars and tracks.
If you do get the PS plus version you can upgrade to the full version for a discounted price. That was the deal when it was supposed to be a launch release but im guessing it will still apply when it is released next year.
That's still too expensive. There's no reason why digital games should cost more than their physical counterparts, surely they should cost less due to no manufacturing costs?
