Please, I don't want to play COD meets Halo with sprinting and scoping. It was bad enough in 4, it's compounded in 5.
"How do you know it's for no good reason"
THE HERO OF THE UNSC. THE MAN WHO SINGLE HANDEDLY WON THE WAR now has a target on his head from his own people. You tell me that there is a justifiable reason for this that isn't shoe horned in. I'd like to hear it. Not to mention, a team of Spartan IIs vs Spartan IVs. Wh...
@iggsta3o5
Nah. A War amongst the Stars? That's stupid. What kind of fool would want Star Wars with space? Everyone knows land is where it's at. Especially in the era that had the least amount of land battles.
Used to be a big halo fan back in the day. This latest offering looks terrible to me. The story line looks atrocious (for no good reason suddenly the Hero of the UNSC is being hunted by Spartan IVs. Who thought it was a good idea to pit Spartan IIs against IVs??) and the multiplayer gameplay looks like a horrible combination of COD meets Halo with some extra parkour tossed in because why the hell not. 343 seem to be a developer that just isn't capable of handling the Halo series; but then...
Translation: Expect to never see a new game from us ever again.
@Johndoe11211 "Imagine an open world game like fallout with graphics of the order"
So how do you propose these consoles do that? The Order is a linear shooter and it can't even achieve 1080p/60.
Also in regards to "no one has a capable PC" I'm just gonna assume you're trolling.

Early access games (which is a terrible terrible thing for the consumer) are made by people who do not have the coffers that publishers have.
The mentality stems from the idea that we're not here to fund the failed projects of "AAA" companies and developers. It is their job to invest and take risks. Plus kickstarter would never be able to raise anywhere near enough to fund these failed games.
You've forgotten a few things in regards to cons.
1)Banned and you lose your games
2)____ bricks and you possibly lose them (limited amount of installs)
3)Depending on what you're using it will take up HDD space
Although my PC library is about 90% digital these are some problems. Specifically the banned part.
No, that would be terrible for the industry. Publishers and companies that actually have the money to fund these projects suddenly begging people to fund/invest/donate for their failed ideas?
Kickstarter should be used for people who have a product someone wants but cannot get a publisher or investor to pitch in money. It's bad enough the system is abused as is already, we don't need people WITH money to get richer by not using their money.
The government is to blame here. Taxes on entertainment imports are so high that hardly any of the population can afford them. Recall that one kid who paid 1,000+ USD for the Playstation 4?
This method of piracy spawned because the people who own said systems literally cannot afford them.
Iron sights were never a part of Battlefront. At least they've gotten that right about the game.
Where's the screen shot? I only see a bull shot. And that patch is awesome, shame it is associated with the Dice Battlefront reveal.
"Their own vision"
I think this is what I hate the most about this reboot. Their own 'vision' sounds like a cop out, like an excuse as to why they're refusing to add any features. Not to mention, if it is their own vision, why not make a new series (aside from the fact that they want the sales from the name Battlefront alone).
As someone who's been a fan of the series for over 10 years now, this situation honestly feels like Dice is...
"Is there anything that really has you worried about this game"?
The fact that Dice is making it, and the first thing they tell us about the game is that we're not getting a fraction of the features that us Battlefront fans used to drool over. I expect this game to be a generic clone of MODERN battlefield slapped with a Star Wars skin; but the clone won't be as good because they cannot overshadow their love child of a series.

Unless you speak like you're illiterate, the use of words you do not approve of does not mean that you are without proper language skills or unintelligent. As I'm certain that the comedian George Carlin was infinitely smarter than you are and sailors would blush when around him.
Jak and Daxter was a kids game. Stop worrying so much about what other people think if you don't play the latest brown and bloom gritty shooter and just enjoy the games.
You've got good taste in platformers.
"To completely dismiss it is arrogant"
"Hey, you know those lines of dialogue that were used to set up some eerie back story in PT and possibly set up the story for the new Silent Hills? Those totally are a hidden message of Kojima telling us he's going to be fired a year down the road. Jet Fuel can't melt steel beams Debrah!"
As another commenter mentioned, Yooka needs pants. I'm very excited for this. Yooka uses his tongue as a grappling hook and Laylee can fly/use sonar. Glad to see they're still sticking to creative uses for their characters.
This problem falls on both sides of the coin. With both the consumers and the corporations. Developers/Publishers are getting lazy and putting out cheap product intended to sell. And for every one person dedicated to this hobby complains, there are several more that treat these games like content to consume. Rather than a product that is meant to have quality.
Companies lying about their product is okay because "it's always been like this"???
