It remains to be seen whether or not the PS3 version of Crysis will best PS3's exclusives. From what I've seen of console footage it's impressive, but not mind blowing.
On PC, no contest.
That's cool. The government gets enough of our money already.
I believe you mean 6 percent.
Not true, I only use PSN cards for security reasons (one less exposure of credit card info) and PSN purchases have recently become taxed in my state, Pennsylvania.
It all has to do with the sales tax laws in the state in which the purchases are made.
Seijoru, you are correct.
I think this occurred in my state, PA, due to SonyStyle stores opening here, as previously I paid no sales taxes on PSN purchases. Basically, if I internet order from a store that does not have a physical location in my state, no sales tax. If I internet order from a store that does have a physical location in my state, they are required by law to COLLECT sales tax.
I don't know of any MS or Nintendo retail stores in my state...
Hundreds of millions of satisfied console purchasers throughout several generations disagree with you and prove your premise wrong.
Why can't wrong just be wrong, and crime just be crime?
We are people on the internet discussing the issue, nothing more. Balt's point is only valid when referring to the allocation of law enforcement resources or enacting social change. For example, if a country has all their assets chasing pirates while murders are not being investigated there's a problem.
I love how we use comparison to something worse for justification or to make ourselves...
If you buy new, you don't pay for an online pass, the code comes with the game.
The pass is meant to deter sales of used games.
You got that right!
@ Information Minister
Now all we need is for him to comment defending his 'article' and the douchebag trinity will be complete.
Console gamers or, more specifically PS3 gamers, think KZ3 will look better than Crysis 2 on CONSOLES. How difficult is that to grasp? Only a fool or a troll would try claim that KZ3 will best Crysis 2 on a good PC.
By the same token, telling us all that Crysis on a good PC will look better than KZ3 is like telling me your WRX STi is faster than a bicycle. Obvious, pointless, worthless, and meaningless.
Cross game chat? Wouldn't that just allow Sony to see people using it, know it's a hacked machine and enable the ban hammer?
@ ElementX
Dude, why can't people just fight for what they deem right and just, without being labeled obsessive, regardless of who the benefactor is?
Do you feel you have to be able to personally benefit from a fight to make it worthy?
Is there no such thing as fighting for ideals?
Kind of reminds of what my mother taught me as a boy, that the only necessary reward for doing a good deed is in having done that good deed.
Sure about that?

Actually Gears now has both with the addition of Horde mode. Is the campaign co-op 4 player? I only remember playing campaign co-op with 2 players, but I couldn't say with any certainty the limit was 2.
I was not trying to assert that one game was better than the other, just indicating that pointless points, if you will, no matter how well thought out they may seem, remain pointless.
I don't find Metacritic averages to be objective references, but r...
Keep in mind...Gears' metacritic average dropped from one to two, so it's on a decline while Uncharted's rose significantly from one to two so it's on the upswing. There is no historical evidence that suggests we shouldn't think this trend will continue.
Uncharted also has co-op, three players only however, as well as addictive MP that doesn't suffer from host advantage issues.
But as pointless as your and my posts have been, I agree ...
I realize it's angled differently, and almost posted that, but that has nothing to do with his post. What possible reason would you need to move your hand from nav to barrel and back again, as a real foregrip IS your handguard grip point? If you navigate left handed, your right finger is on the trigger and vice versa.
Regarding having the nav unit in the hand grip and using your right thumb like on a controller, and please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but d...
@ madpuppy
Rifles? You mean you're not fond of shells ejecting across your face while you're firing?
It shouldn't be a problem for hand location, it's positioned similarly to a rail mounted foregrip on an AR15.
@ Proxy
I can't tell if your trying to refute or reinforce his point.
