5 years between PS1 and PS2
6 years between PS2 and PS3

7 years between PS3 and PS4?

5 years since PS3 launch = 2011 - not likely.
6 years since PS3 launch = 2012 - possible.
7 years since PS3 launch = 2013 - my prediction.

Yeah, I think the next XBox will use Bluray too.

I bought the 320GB Sports Champion bundle from Walmart for $350.00. Sony will probably have several bundles to appeal to differing tastes.

Where do people get the misconception that bundles are bad? I was buying another PS3 and was going to get the Sports Champion Move bundle anyway. I got lucky enough to find the 320GB/SC bundle and it saved me $100.00!

Mine does.

And of course you have the proof that it was Sony who went to him to settle and not the other way around.

And here I was thinking that the defendants in a case, when they know they can't win, are the ones who initiate settlement talks. Silly me.

@ darkpower

Just give it up already. You complain about people not listening. Did you ever stop to think your argument may be weak and you're running on nothing but emotion. Look at your posts.

'Imagine if it were ruled that hotz was in the right and he had every right to do what he did!'

Never would have happened. Copyright laws are there for a reason.

'If sony had a water tight case why would they settle?'

What could Geohot possibly have that Sony wanted, other than for him to cease his actions, which he has?

Further, if he had an air tight case, with the possibility of counter suing, do you think ...

That's what I enjoyed about FFXIII.

I didn't miss the RPG staple of going to towns, talking to 50 people to find the right person to advance the story, and through it all forgetting the nuances of the story while taking in all the superfluous information.

I'm not saying their isn't something charming about talking to all the townsfolk, but when I'm riding an interesting and enjoyable story, I don't enjoy getting sidetracked for too lon...

It's simple. They enjoyed it. Your lack of understanding, nor your opinion, negates their opinion. All your arguments presume only one viewpoint can be correct, so naturally it must be yours.

now instead of calling me a troll u retards how about u prove me wrong?'

You haven't proven yourself right, you've treated YOUR OPINION as a fact, and now demand others...

Funny, you had to choose SciFi games to attempt to prove your point. The only SCiFi or mystical qualities in Uncharted belong to Drake's enemies, not Drake himself.

ME2 had to sacrifice it's RPG qualities to become an average shooter, much to the dismay of many fans. The final boss in ME2 was just the very definition of variety too, I guess.

Red Faction: Guerrilla not repetitive? Please.

The set pieces in UC, blow away anything e...

It has all the depth it needs: character relationships, treachery, twists, etc. It's an action game, not Macbeth.

As a firearms aficionado, I can tell you it's pretty much aim, squeeze the trigger, empty magazine (or cylinder in the case of a revolver, or en bloc clip as in my namesake), reload. Uncharted does that and adds hanging and shooting into the mix. Do enlighten us as to what game has complex shooting mechanics that are fun.

'I played crysis2 on my 360 and yes I thought most of the time at how much better this looked then kx3'

Gee, and I'm usually thinking something more like:

Three guys on the left up ahead with assault rifles, two on the right with MG's and the dude in the perch with the rocket launcher. I'll take him out first, then the MG's, etc.

Give it up. You are as transparent as a pane of glass. As much as you chide the fanboys...

How does Crysis compare when run on a PC roughly equivalent to the PS3 in power CPU/GPU wise?

Serious question, not being argumentative.

Edit:

I was thinking that being designed specifically for PC, that a similarly powered PC would be a good comparison against games designed specifically for the PS3.

However, having given it more thought, as Crysis was designed to be a benchmark for a high end machine, Crytek likely had not...

'Sony have gradually disabled backwards compatibility for PS2 games on the PS3…how convenient. Obviously I am not going to act like the first guy to recognise this, it’s pretty obvious that Sony have made this move to enable these HD remakes to prosper.'

And all this time I was thinking they removed the PS2 chipset from PS3's to allow them to sell at a lower price. Silly me.

So, Sony being late caused RRoD. Got it. Thanks for clearing that up.
