I don't think they are playing chicken with each other. The reason they are being quiet, I think, is due to the competition in hardware production and cost. They need to do something about the supporting characters in both Rise and Shadow. Both felt annoying and pointless.
This only issue I have with this video is the use of CG.
For me, I call it quits when the game cheats, breaks immersion, buggy, boringly repetitive, or multiple fetch quests. Example? Far Cry 5. Don't recall the game being buggy and I really wanted to like it, but that game is repetitive, cheats, and breaks immersion.
I went from the graphics are nice and the game looks decent from this early build and like the combos, puts Godfall to shame, to HOLY SH#T, it's got giants and army battles too!
The fan noise but Cerny already addressed it. Wanted to say the random audio issue when using the headphone jack via controller but found out it's the interference when using wireless. And the oddest issue, which I'll have the PS5 standing anyway, is the weak wifi signal when my PS4 Pro is in horizontal position, but strong when it's in vertical position?

Unless something drastic happens to the world where 5g is available everywhere and affordable, I don't think PS5 will be the last disc-less console. PS6 looks more like it.

PS5 for sure. For XSX, I liked the 12TF of power and was thinking this time XBox will be back in my living my living with the rest of the consoles. But they didn't show the 12TF of power at their recent showcase. Is it going to be like the X1X again? I would like to see 3rd party game comparison when the time comes. Until then, XSX is on hold for me.
PlayStation 1st parties could have set the PS brand back had Sony release iterations of their franchises and followed the $$$ herd. Uncharted series could have been on its 7th release with TLOU never existed. No reboot of GOW, just GOW 4. Killzone 6 on its way without ever knowing HZD. I'm just glad Sony saw the series fatigue problem early in the PS3 era and took that chance of change in the right direction. Also, you can see how much their 1st party teams have improved after every title...
I appreciate these kinds to intro videos and recommend this for all upcoming release games, but this game so far doesn't look like it's for me.
