Or in 3-4 years for the mid gen upgrade models.
When you let Marketing run the show.
Definitely putting my radar.
This is what happens when you try to squeeze in last gen tech. I don't blame CDK as they have mentioned in the past that their original plan was to ditch last gen consoles. They should reduce the res to 600p along with some removal of objects, NPCs, and textures so the game can run at 30fps.
Nah, I stop watching after he said the XSX is more powerful after multiple tests from different outlets have proven otherwise - talk about in-depth. We can play the waiting game until next gen/current games start to prove that TFLOPS determine the strength of a console. I'm not.
Probably just me but i can't stand his cheesy remarks and his channel, and it has PC fanboy written all over it.
Good. Hopefully I'll own the console by the time it releases.
Picture comparisons? Is this 2013?
Starcraft: Ghost!
I feel that Xbox console designs have been run by Marketing team - numbers, numbers, numbers so they can brag/advertise them. I don't think they have full knowledge about game development. Like Stadia, lets maximize TFLOPS so we can get the best performance.
Cerny - you guys are fine but are heading in the wrong direction if you want the best performance.
Scalpers affect retailers too because when your customers don't own the console, they can't shop for games at your store.
I'm pretty sure both companies are looking at this because they track software sales/attachment rates to consoles sold so when the numbers look bad, they will find ways to minimize or eliminate this atrocity. When they do, I hope it hurts these scalpers...big time.
Quote from VG Tech: "PS5 in Performance Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest native resolution found being approximately 2432x1368. Xbox Series X in Performance Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest native resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest native resolution found being 1920x1080."
RE4 was the one that brought me back to RE series after RE2.
The new patch makes the SX perform well but resolution drops to 1080p while the PS5 lowest res drops to about 1400p.
On par, but I can't help that one is supposed to be "the most power console."
I just check Amazon (US) and looks like they removed the company that was trying to sell at $1,500 each. Progress?
What pissed me off yesterday, I searched Amazon for the PS5 and found a site/store in US that has 20 PS5s in stock. How much are they selling them? $1,500 each. I tried to report them to Amazon so that they get removed but can't find the report option.
Welp, looks like I won't be owning one until March, if I am lucky...
The US needs to do the same.
