How about everyone just play what you want to play and knock it off with this back and forth about which is better when it is all anecdotal in the end. There is no right and wrong even if the majority says otherwise.
Good game that was surprisingly challenging. Not calling it great because I believe the sequel has a lot of room for improvement. I fully expect the sequel to hit like Uncharted 2 did.
Playstation will be just fine. None of this changes the fact that they make compelling games within their own right. All this doom and gloom as if they are going to just fade away suddenly is nonsense.
If the fans truly want a FPS or western RPG then Sony will have to make those type of games. I bet you when they do they will be masterpieces.

They aren't competing. Quest 2 is a standalone and PSVR 2 requires a nearly impossible to get PS5.

Fix the motion sickness and I’m sold. Especially the motion sickness from first person perspective games. From what I am reading it sounds like a lot of big improvements have been made.
It Takes Two and Returnal were the best games IMO.
Jeez Death Loop is way overhyped. I played and finished it but I am not sure why they are giving it flowers. There were other games that were much better last year.
No hate on the game but it seriously wasn’t anything amazing.
Kena got extremely difficult near the end. I had to switch to easy mode. I wish I didn’t have to but getting a repeated beatdown for hours is no longer my thing.
Very good game overall IMO.

Madden 93 is still my all-time favorite of the franchise. That was the first one with weather changes and the stretcher. Lol!
