Can someone please get Patrick Garratt a tampon please? He finds characters who were drawn out and designed with an attractive look to be "so degrading its depressing". God forbid you create a female character that isn't a fat slob with a boyscout haircut and armpit hair. Why on earth would you want to sell that image to the vast majority of your audience - males?
This is very surprising given how Crytek has gone on and on about how they've been waiting for the next generation since Crysis 1, that current specs are not sufficient, and on and on, and they're still developing on current gen systems...
After this they'll definitely be looking into next gen systems, because quite frankly I don't see how they can squeeze anything more out of current gen systems after Crysis 3.

The DMC didn't say anything about changing the gameplay, they weren't going to turn it into a first person shooter, they only changed the look of Dante and game the game that stupid emo style, the gameplay is of course going to be the same hack and slasher.
Now that there are zombies I can't imagine it being anything like CoD, the RE team knows how to make an amazing game with good action, so what if you don't have those shitty tank controls from eons ago?
Really, who cares if the game isn't spooky. If it's got some eerie moments like in RE4 that weren't really scary but more intense that really got your blood going I'll be happy.

Also beating dead space 2 on hardcore difficulty just to get a hand phoam thing that you can use to kill monsters with, the only sound being Isaac saying "bang" with his mouth to fire it, that was stupid. The hardest difficulty in that game was ridiculous only being able to save 3 times, with no checkpoints.

GTA5 is coming out May 2013 ^ or at least that's what its ex employees are saying which quite frankly is the most realistic target given we're already into Q2 and we've seen nothing but a trailer so far, I mean hello, finishing it for a November release would mean manufacturing starts in September, which means the game needs to be done in August, does anyone think the game can be finished completely with a mere 5 months left of dev time?
