Deferred rendering is only possible thanks to the SPUs. Without them, you'd be lucky to reach 10 frames per second @ 510p resolution.

Worst software, perhaps not, but worst for its time, definitely. I mean it may have better software than the gamecube, but the Gamecube pushed the limits of console gaming somehow, the Wii isn't. So for its, time the Wii is the worst console ever in terms of software.

PS3 devs can use up to 8 threads on the cell processor for games, 6 on the SPEs and 2 on the PPU, while 360 devs can only use 5 threads not 6 as the 6th is occupied with the OS.
