huh why disagree, my guitar stand might not have been as flamboyant a present as say the ps2 i got years ago but the thought behind the stand goes alot further, i mean my guitar is always laying around the house on the floor getting damaged. its small thing but it means alot, shows they want my guitar to stay in good condition and for me to keep playing.

this year? ps3 outsold the xbox nearly every month until the 360 got its price cut (in the last quarter) sony wasn't and isn't ready for their price cut yet economically as a business. the ps3 is a strong enough brand to withstand MS and Nintendo until a price cut is viable.

I think maybe a Vietnam setting would be a good direction to go in. other than that maybe come back to a more present war. aside from the current campaigns in iraq and Afghanistan i cant see any politically viable conflicts to base it on, not without upsetting a lot of people.

i enjoyed the demo myself but the only racing franchises that interest me are GT and Wipeout. never played grid, although i might have to give the demo a try.
totally agree with mgs4 getting best sound and graphics. the visuals in that game were polished to perfection, the soundtrack was also immense.
nice to see it getting the recognition it deserves.
the article makes 1 or two good points, but most are pretty mute now.
e.g. the new ps3 console being non backwards compatible! pretty sure the new 80gb models are, although i may be wrong.
and i'm pretty sure the ps3 has more exclusives then i can count on my fingers now, i think they forget that the ps3 launched a year after competition.
how can someone compare the 2, if you have the hdtv for it go blu-ray, if not go dvd or netflix simple.
blu-ray for me, quality is second to none.

I think its abit unlikely that its a 360 version of the game, but look what happened with FFXIII! that hit us out of the blue. i'd say its a new portable game or trophies or something. if mgs goes multiplat (which i doubt it will) i think they would announce it at GDC or any other upcoming games event.
just get a ps3 and play the game if you want it bad, thats what us mgs fans did.
getting the big boss emblem was pretty tough for me, might have to do it again if this is true.. trophies would be a good incentive for people to pick up the game again. might lead to a few more sales too. i guess we'll have to wait and see.
had a alot of fun with 2nd runner, it was a stupidly hard game by the end. if ZOE3 is anything like the 2nd it'll be a treat!

some killzone 2 costumes would be great fun too, little helgasts jumping around. but like you said some kind of final fantasy pack would be a great edition.
