I just like that someone thinks that Destruction AllStars, Harry Potter: Quiddich Champions, Meet Your Maker, Death Note: Killer Within have a 75+ Metascore.
Or that Deep Rock Galactic was a Day One release on PS+.
"And will drop in price not long after launch." That hasn't been true for Sony for a long time now. Astro Bot is still full price. Spider-Man 2 is still $70. God of War Ragnarok is still $70. Demon's Souls and Spider-Man: Miles Morales are still the same price as they were when released in 2020.
Waiting for a sale? PSN Store is having its big Spring sale now and the only Sony published game I could find on sale was Astro Bot Digital Deluxe ($10 off...
The fact that N4G members are defending Sony for promoting this game is just sad. It looks like it would be a popup ad on a YouTube video.
This is old news though. It is already well known that games featured on Playstation.blog and the Sony channel are there because they paid to be. Sony doesn't spend any effort in curating their library beyond making sure the check clears.
For the same reason that doping scandals are talked about on a sports website. Most gamers actually care about the integrity of their hobby. It is bad enough to have billionaire investors ruin the development of video game but now we have the richest man in the world bragging about being one of the best gamers out there and attacking anyone who points out he is just taking credit for someone else's work.
Even comments not blaming Sony are getting lots of disagrees - and even erased as spam by N4G moderators.
Sony has nothing to do with the problems at Bungie and their only fault is panic buying the studio in the first place. What people should be concerned with is developers leaving Bungie and being integrated into PlayStation Studios, spreading like cancer. The people whose choices caused the downfall of Bungie will now have voices in other studios.
Judging by the disagrees to comments here, N4G is the only place where Bungie and Destiny 2 are doing fantastic. I suppose blind loyalty to Sony makes it easy to not see that Destiny 2 is in a death spiral.
It seems The Final Shape was actually final.
"Teams that score the most goals also miss the most shots."
That is not how any of that works, but nice attempt at deflecting. In your mind, the Portland Trail Blazers must be an amazing team this year since they hold 3 of the top 5 spots for most shots missed in a game.

Seems like this Michel Ancel is trying really hard to deflect blame to anyone but himself. The game was announced - with a complete gameplay trailer - in 2014 and yet Ancel is trying to blame Ubisoft's taking it over in 2018 as the real reason it was never completed. He couldn't finish the game in over 4 years - blaming Ubisoft is just a jab at his old bosses. I also doubt Sony offered to double their budget as well as giving his small studio a PS5 dev kit in 2018.
Such a downgrade. So long Cruel and Merciless, POE2 is chasing the Soulslike train so you cannot make the game harder by choice.
@jznrpg
By that reasoning, Sony should just remove every game for sale after 9 years.
And the people who are just getting into gaming? Are you saying that it is their fault for not liking something before and that they shouldn't be allowed to buy digital copies of games that released before they started gaming?
I do enjoy how you defend every single thing that Sony does, which is constant work these days.
I'm pretty sure Sony has now released more new hardware than more new 1st-party exclusive games in the last 2 years.
It says quite a lot when you have to leave Uncharted 4 off of a list just to make the PS5 look good.
Sony released The Last of Us and the PS4 the same year that GTA5 released.
Please stop making excuses.
@VariantAEC
"How are you being ripped off if the PS5 slim and likely the PS5 Pro don't need the stand... to stand?"
If it is completely unnecessary, Sony selling a stand to make the PS5 slim/Pro stand for $30 is the literal definition of ripping someone off.
@bionicstar
I expect your mind will be blown when you walk into a Dollar General.
@jznrpg
I like how your argument in defending Sony is that they are essentially ripping consumers off by selling them a completely useless item for $30.
I imagine it would be handled similar to the way vampirism is done in Skyrim. The downside of be able to walk through Rad infested areas without a care in the world would be the constant threat of becoming a feral ghoul.
Sony can barely support the PS5 with first-party games, does not support PSVR2 with first-party games, so why should consumers think it will be any different with Sony's next handheld? Nintendo abandoned home consoles and went all in on the Switch in order to make it a success. Valve has an incredible and consumer friendly ecosystem that makes the Steam Deck work. Unless Sony is ready to make a substantial commitment to handhelds, they are just going to be making another PSVita that co...
8 years development time is quite impressive considering Firewalk Studios was founded in 2018. I'm sure Concord will be a great game as long as there is no math involved in making it.
Which website said DOOM The Dark Ages was "too masculine"?
The only thing I could find was when a bunch of snowflakes lost their minds over Rolling Stone calling the art designs uninspired and somehow made the conclusion that RS hated men.
