This game will sell 400,000 tops in America... Japan won't buy the game at all. It is up to Europe to make it a hit, and given the fact all Naughtydog games are more popular over there, I'm sure they'll push it to 1 million units sold sometime next year... but Sony needs to do something about the American market. Sega Gen - Average at best. I bought this over the Snes, shoulda learned my lesson, but I didn't. A few good times were had and some good memories from time to time, but nothing worth mentioning here. Snes was always on my mind during my Gen days.

Uncharted is amazing! I'm on my 5th play thru now... It doesn't get old. It's just awesome. you can sort of set up your own goals on your next play thru.
For instance... I set out to do nothing but hand to hand kills and am doing very well at it. It's awesome. I also love the hanging kills. Snapping the necks of these SLOP DONGs is another thing I've enjoyed doing. The game has so much depth to it. It's awesome. you'll never go into any 1 battle the same way twice.

Amblight full 1080P and a full 1080P bravia aswell... 6000 in tv's, by the way... and the ambilight was the better tv. For 2000 for a 47 in screen... it smacks my 42 in Bravia's ass.
Ambilight adds a whole new level to HD movies and gaming. It's awesome.
Sony under preformed in America, that's for sure. they should've hit alteast 500,000 "and maybe then did" but still... at nearly 400,000 less than the opposition they're in direct combat with... Sony's game sales are at an all time low. Big games like R&CFTD has only sold 300, 000 ... Uncharted is at a ta dover 200,000 These are not good numbers ...
Uncharted isn't going to appeal to anyone in Japan... It's lucky it sold that much. I also don't see anyone being suprised about Lost Od, mself.. It's what Japan loves the most. Of course it'd sell. It'd sell if it was on 3do.
Uncharted's biggest region will be the U.K. Aside form that, Sony has a lot of ground work to do for their 1st party games. they just don't promote them like they should. simple as that.
I don't know if this applies to me... On one hand I have over 25 bluray movies now... On the other I do have a Ps3... on my left foot, though... I even own a stand alone Blu-ray player... So, numbers and figures are a waste of time when it's not hard evidence backing it.

Heavenly Sword passed 500,000??? I wasn't aware of that. I thought it was still in the 300,000's about to hit 400,000. Well, eitherway... it might've been a moderate hit it still wasn't what they were hoping it'd have been. I'm sure it'll hit a million if it's already at 500,000 but the game was riddled with flaws. Lots of them.

I think Heavenly swords length was perfect for me... I just didn't like the engine it was built on. The touch sense was garbage, yet it was the coolest sets of moves to pull off, but the problem was... you couldn't pull them off. It was a broken system.
Heavenly Sword did support "some" nice graphics... overall, it wasn't that good, though. The entire 1st level is appalling. The snow looks like S#IT shot out of a baby's ass.

I just played this 5 mins ago on my ps3... I just popped in DMC3, upscaled it to 1080P and BAM! Same game... only different locations.
this has been posted 10 times already... Anyways, if anyone were to actually read the interview, Evan says they will go back to it, but not anytime soon. < Basically. so, don't expect to see it next year and I think many people will have themselves to blame, if you ask me.
Which sucks for all the dedicated fans of the series cause now we have to wait 2 years or better just to get our hands on the next one. Taht blows. I might be done with gaming completely by then.
The game has sold like 350,000 copites... Maybe they need to hold off on that follow up and get their finances in order, don't you think? I mean, please... the game tanked when in retrosect... I'm not a fan and I can look at it thru unbias eyes... This game will play just like DMC3 and look like it in Hd. That's my take... I'm waiting for it to prove me wrong.
Also, DMC games are super short... I can't wait to see how the short factor plays out here. I'm sure reviews are going to be super easy on the fact it's 7 hours long, but Uncharted and Heavenly sword got bashed for it. Uncharted, by the way, is a 10 hour game... not a 7.
