The funny thing. Crash Bandicoot was set in a jungle... It predated Tomb Raider even. now what? Idiots... I mean, Sly Stallone was doing action movies well before Vin Desil knew he needed to shave the pubic hair off the top of his head.
Comparrisons are absurd at best. Uncharted not only stands on its own... It kicked Lara right in the TW@T. Uncharted is actually good... Tomb Raider is not.
The even worse aspect here... Uncharted has 4 levels set in the jung...
Yawn... Uncharted kicks ass. Cut it how you want. It's a slice of Ass Kick in your face, either way. This site is obviously sent out to stop the overwhelming praise the game has garnered. Over 25 9+ reviews and counting. When's it stop?
Well, that's the best place for it... Obviously, cause the xbox 360 just couldn't handle how ambitious the game "REALLY" was. The graphics, textures, frame rate.. everything suffers at the ahnds of the inferior box, that is the xbox 360. It runs alright, but the thing is... Skate on Ps3 runs better, and yet... they bashed it for frame dips. Whatever... Mass Effect is loaded to the hilt with them, yet.. they act as if it's an effect, rather than defect.
I'll buy Mass ...
6.5 is now excellent? I mean, they said it right there... an "excellent job of representing the cg art style of the movie" I love the new 6.5 bar set for excellence now.
God tomb raider games are so lame... I really wish they'd end the series. Remember when they killed her off? Why didn't that stick? so lame.
Looks played out. Looks like Ps2 versions, only in hd now. Gameplay will no doubt be unchanged and still control like a tank. How very lame. Add all the bump mapping and lighting you want... The game isn't going to break ground by being just like the others.
We get it already.. Spooky town... Fog... scary things happen. Little girls skipping around and coloring S#IT... It's old. Like all american horror movies being released.
Uncharted 2 needs
More control over Melee Moves. Maybe, use the timed button presses only for more ammo and maybe even finishers. We need to be able to do more with our hands and feet.
More Stealth attacks. I don't want stealth missions. Those never work. I want the option of being stealthy and not being stealthy, like it is now.. only more expanded upon.
Melee Weapons. Knives, Throwing stars, throwing knives stuff like that. It could get bloody, ...
Yes this would be nice... But, Jak is what we got. Jak and daxter was incredible and easily the best in the series. I don't agree with them shifting the gameplay over so much and losing the diversity while they were at it, but the series ended up being fantastic.
But, I'm still with Uncharted. Not even Jak & daxter would change that.
Cause it's the best format there is. HD-dvd needs to die... Even more so when Directors working along side backers of the format say so. Speilberg, Bay, Lucas... All have said blu-ray is the next step. Rogger Ebert even said it and that guy hates everything.
Hd-dvd is a losing proposition.
Uncharted... Jak's ends are tied up and it's best to leave it alone. Jason Rubin and Andy Gavin are no longer with them and they're the backbone of the series. Uncharted was a new step in a kick ass direction!
R&C is Sony's new platformer... Let it be just that and since Sucker Punch is out in left field with that abysmal looking Infamous, R&C will have to do us until they bring Sly back.
Jak was a great series, but as I said the game was complete.
The big feature, or one of them, I really want Sony to give us in Home is the ability to place all of our PSN games in Arcade cabinets and position them anywhere in our homes and boot them directly from there. I'd love to have a game room, man. That'd be super sharp.
Home's a good "concept" but I'm not sold on it until they give us more animations and things to do inside. I want to be able to visit cities and towns and a such and carry out task and just have a comple...
No, not really... COD4 looks good, but not near as good as the picture on the right of the comparrison shot. That Killzone 2 blows everything I've seen out of the water. The Killzone 2 back at E-3 was litterally the most impresive thing ever shown in videogame form.
This new garbage they're showing... I don't know what to think, but it's not good. It's about on par with COD4, to be honest.

Uncharted has proven to have over 94%, 9+ reviews and yet... not even half of them are showing up on meta or gamerankings. way to keep things in check c-net and Microsoft.
