sony saw the multiplats not giving them 100 percent a mile away and focused on their first party at the beginning of this generation. smart move on sony's part. because waiting for multi's to come to grips took a year and half pretty much but with the focus on first party sony is releasing a multitude of great games all exclusive and a reason to own their console.

vandan the engine is designed specefically to make use of spu's and cell integration the moment you put it on the VERY different architecture of the 360 it would not even hope to do half of that it would take millions to just make the engine run multi. which at that point you should have made a different engine for that price
jaces although that is mostly true, l4dead is barely acceptable in terms of graphics and everyone praises it. In my opinion valve is the laziest developer right now not because of the ps3 but because,
1. the ai its zombies it takes literally no skill to do
2. small selection of maps
3. the engine its running on was used ages ago
4. the controls float like crazy
5. the guns are very standard only one weapon lets you look down the scope

i think that gta is going to get dethroned, sooner or later a developer is going to make an exclusive ps3 open world game that will put it to shame and everyone who owns a ps3 will start buying that series instead.
while i was watching this i decided i have to buy this game now, cover system, actual boss battles, great climbing mechanic and jumping system. And not to mention the graphics look great along with an awesome atmosphere.
Prototype is going to be great too, but its on the backburner right now. I'll end up getting both eventually but this game is day one.

drake is way better than an average guy a better description would be an average game world guy, he has no special moves and takes cover to save himself, and he makes some wise cracks during the game.

i was a resident evil fan till 4 came out, then i decided 4 was still a good game because they made it action/survival, but if you can't keep up with the controls of action games then you just have an unwieldy mess.
Edit: if you take away the nostolgia of re and this was a new ip we would all say it sucks guaranteed.

...those lying motherf@(*&()'s it destroyed any game that came out near it when it came to AI, the story was great, and its "3" shots to kill an enemy if you shoot them in the chest and 1 headshot but in the hardest mode it takes a few more bullets

I cannot believe this. R2 has fewer lag than any xbox online game to date and has 60 player matches. R2 controls are fine and well done not to mention the SERVER LISTS
anyone who wants to act like a random game you have limited control of going into as a party system is better than a server list is a complete moron.
R2 alone blows most fps games out of the water and Killzone 2 has had very little launch issues making one of the best launches this gen period.
