i consider it to be at least equal as you put it in "trolling". if the biased sites would at least writeup some articles bashing the other at least i would not be as angry at them.
hip-hop i dont like your show all too much as i'm not into rap but i at least must compliment your attitude when i watched your show it was at least genuine which seems kind of hard to find these days.
although i think the ps3 has the best graphics for consoles now, gameplay as always reigns supreme.
Example: I'm going to go play socom confrontation, it has some mediocore at best graphics so why am i playing it? its gameplay keeps me coming back

I'll take k2 as next gen of gaming over gears 2 anyday. Not because gears 2 looks bad but because for their graphics they have 5v5 matches and corridor gameplay with characters stuck to the ground. try going off of a staircase and you will know what i mean. Who gives your enemies the ability to jump but finds it technically unachievable to give the player that ability too.

so it will make me run a crappy version of windows that i had to pay alot for, then it will overtax my ram (windows OS style :) followed by getting a minimal increase that could have easily been achieved with dx9 and optimization of graphics settings or even overclocking?

In terms of graphics, the character models are passable, the glaring problems are the wall and floor textures which seem horrendous and to be quite frank, made by a past gen creation tool. The game needs some work and hopefully they end up doing well.
Remember this is an open world game, the graphics are toned down (hopefully they are going to touch those up next.) or you can have oblivion graphics (bloom) with a billion loading screens.

as much as i think that ign is probably the best place for mostly fair reviews imo on the internet,
it annoys me that gears has anywhere near the same score, r2 has so much content and improvement which earned a score of 9.5
gears barely updates the graphics by giving lighting to individual characters and items that's it. They add 2 extra people to play online and a horde mode for spawning enemies in a small map and they give it the same score as resistance 2
