Why would I lie about something like this? In the past 4 years I have used this numerous times to get price matches mostly from Amazon and a few from other stores where games were on sale. Not once did anyone from Best Buy ever question me on this issue.
Why are you so invested in calling me a liar... I have nothing to gain from lying.
Graphically speaking Second Son had top of the line lighting and particle effects on top of fantastic post processing. The biggest limit on that game was simply that it was basically the first big launch and it was rushed.
Well I guess the 25 or so times I did it over the past 4 years were all flukes... your wrong or that policy has changed recently. For example the Black Friday clause was changed last year in prior years GCU applied even to black friday deals.
They had launch day shipping as part of the deal. I bought dozens of games and the only game that didn't arrive on launch day was FFXV that was one day late.
There was also a 10% discount on used games as well as trade in's and 2x points towards rebate certificates and access to other discounts like $10 reward certificates for pre-orders.
You answer is so snarky that I'd like to let you know my own research has lead me to believe that this wasn't due to them losing money but do to some publishers increasing the the cost to retailers to purchase games while maintaining the MSRP. This is all while other publishers are pushing digital distribution methods really hard which retailers have trouble selling and have traditionally paid more for. Which is why digital games have never been part of Amazon Prime or BB GCU.
I did it online thought the pricematch chat and I did it numerous times. Your wrong, they denied me on several occasions for other things so I HIGHLY doubt it was in anyway against policy.
This is extremely unfortunate. I have saved so much money using this. They even applied the discount to price match and it wasn't just pre-orders like Amazon. Well after my membership expires I can't see any reason to buy games from Best Buy again in the future.
I'd like to know why they chose to do this. It's definitely going to cost them a lot of business.
Scalebound is dead the rumor was fake Aaron Greenberg himself shot it down.
They are never going to attract Japanese customers and xbox owners don't buy Japanese games even the popular games like Final Fantasy and Monster Hunter don't sell well on xbox (less than 15% of copies sold were on xbox). Why would a Japanese publisher make a game exclusive for xbox when it's not going to sell? And why would Microsoft pay to make a game that isn't going to sell?
"Because evidence has clearly shown that their first party isn't up to par. MS isn't there yet 1st party wise obviously that article I posted was from April. We're not gonna see big AAA stuff quite yet. Phil's tweet: "
Microsoft has been publishing games for more than 25 years how long do they need?
"???...Umm Isn't that what a healthy AAA 1st party studios do? Have Quality and Quani...
"Why in the hell would they not be better that logic is horrible. If Phil is building up first party and a supposed AAA facility in Santa Monica going forward for better AAA experiences why the hell would you look back at what was, (mediocre games) and the same for the future?"
I agree it's illogical to release mediocre games, yet that's what Microsoft has been doing. You would have thought they would have learned yet...
Why would anyone take Phil at his word at this point? He has gone back on his word told half truths and lied so many times I can't believe that anyone wouldn't be skeptical at this point.
But lets say it's true, your looking at games that are 3-5 years out by then we'll be in a new generation where you can be certain Sony will have games ready to go. And given the lack in quality of the games that Microsoft has released in the past two years why would anyon...
