How about the game...Independence Day for PSX.

@Panda, you could just embed the video...
I find it interesting how still on the Pyromania link the 3rd dial is unclickable. I wonder if it will become clickable and show even more information.
FYI, this isn't a dupe as this is showcasing the change in background which for is pretty much confirming the Scorch Shot weapon will be added as a new item for the pyro. Also, I will continue to update this exact post with Day 2 once they make the second dial clickable. Valve and their hype/teasing...
Unfortunately there's next to nothing as far as new information from this vid. Kind of hoping it was the "behind closed curtains" 17-min demo. I can't wait to see this scene played out differently. Hell, I can't wait to play the damn thing myself...
There's a free demo coming to STEAM soon. Just download it and give it a try.
Same....I have played through KZ3, Uncharted 3, and GT5 in 3D. They have all been very enjoyable "new perspective" experiences. I tried UC3 MP in 3D and it was neat but not worthwhile.
I bought a 3D TV awhile back and I am happy with my purchase.
I'd like to get my hands on a demo of this, to try it out for myself. There's a fine line between good AI and difficulty level.
@Hisiru
PC's are a different story. The graphics cards can be replaced and are always improving.
You know I am talking about consoles.
Edit: Just saw Hicken's post. He points out the PC "next-gen" issue and I agree.
Exactly, not worth it.
Honestly for next-gen I don't expect/want a huge graphics leap. I would rather have longer more dynamic gameplay like what "The Last of Us" is bringing. We have far surpassed the days of Mario where we know exactly when and where enemies will be. I want to see that brought to another level with advanced AI and dynamic ever changing environments.
It's the next God of War game in the series. It's a prequel to before he was a god. It has multiplayer for the first time in the series. Wait til you get your hands on a demo before you go judging it.
Not to mention, God of War 3 was the first iteration on PS3. So PS2 to PS3 jump in graphics was huge. This is another God of War still on the PS3 so you can't expect the graphics to be a huge jump.
On the contrary, TLOU, Halo 4, and Watch Dogs were all entertaining for me to watch.
Haha I have always thought about would people do less crimes if the death penalty were to be changed. That is, however the murderer killed their victim, they were killed in a manner of the same setup. So in this case, find out where the two victims were stabbed and have Isohi be stabbed in both places and left to bleed to death.
Or in the case of someone being shot and killed. Kill the murderer the same way.
The death penalty is quick and painless. Not scary...
And we never will. People say we are taught history so that it doesn't repeat itself but stuff like this is brought to our attention and will occur numerous times again...sad really.
Opinion piece or not...have your "staff member" do some research before writing. This is the issue today. Anyone with access to a computer thinks they are a journalist. Quality is higher rated then quantity in gaming journalism in the end. And the quality isn't here considering it looks like no research was done before writing the article.
Honestly I would expect it to be no later then Summer 2013. From what we have seen it looks pretty polished already and truthfully the PS3 is nearing it's end in the next year or two. Hard to say, but I will take it later if ND thinks they need more time to perfect it. I trust them as a dev.
I am excited for a well respected dev like Naughty Dog to be giving us a new IP with a focus on gameplay and story elements rather then just pretty. Granted TLOU looks amazing graphically for being on a 6 year old console.
It's just nice to be getting a new IP every now and again. It's my number 1 list for 2013 since it isn't coming in 2012 :(
Because they took a risk in releasing the demo fairly early and in doing so it got a lot of negative feedback. I commend them on taking the risk considering how many developers nowadays are so afraid to release demos and instead we just rely on Gamefly.
But yea, bad demo give a bad first impression and kills any hype for the game.
The video says "Gameplay demo" yet all you see is cinematics. Granted they are probably in-engine and such but there no gameplay to be had here. So nothing really new :(
Honestly, Ubisoft had the best overall conference. The Last of Us stole the show but as an overall factor Ubisoft had the best showcasing in my opinion.
Honestly with Gamefly nowadays being so cheap and affordable...if a game I am interested in has gotten mixed reviews I just add it to my gameQ. I used to heavily rely on IGN for reviews but a few years back when they gave GTA4 a perfect 10...that's when I threw in the towel for them. Instead I just play the games I want to play and "review" them myself. After all, a review is simply another person's opinion...not mine.
