I have been playing this in the closed beta. The one thing I dislike right away is that if you wait too long and everyone else levels up you have next to no chance to survive. Considering they have money so they have better weapons, purchased grenades, and purchase a side-arm of sorts. To start you just have a crappy MP5 depending on class and no sidearm or grenades or boosts or nothing.
In other words, the matchmaking is going to have to be really good in order for this to b...
As attractive as she is...I am getting sick of her already. She uses her body to get whatever she wants. And yes I am straight but damn, it gets old if that's the only thing you do. Plus, the pink outfit....she'd be kicked out of most places wearing something like that.
Yea I have been playing this...its interesting. The guns have massive recoil that reminds me of SOCOM games but once you get the hang of it I suppose it's fun. I will stream some live gameplay tomorrow night probably if not Sunday for sure.

It might be...at this point we don't know but the PR rep claims all those screens are specifically from Halo 4 even though the DVD has more then one game involved that the teacher talks about.

Clearly you don't know the difference of trying to have an authentic feel and being a simulator. One is trying to be real, and the other is trying to feel real. I guess my comparison of GT vs NFS Shift wasn't clear enough. Shift has good graphics and has a realistic feel to it but it's not trying to be a sim. GT isn't very friendly to the casual gamer because it is a Car sim...it takes a lot of work to play it and even more to be good.
Not true as they are not the same. BF3 has a realistic feel to it and tries to be authentic but at the same time it's not trying to be an Army Sim, whereas Arma3 is. It's like comparing Gran Turismo (sim) to NFS Shift 2. It tries to look and feel real but it's not meant to be a sim.
I was talking about Sega Rally Revo. Decent looking game and 3d trees it looks like in gameplay. The biggest/coolest feature was the track deformation in real-time. For some reason the game just wasn't that popular...

@Az1 Don't forget about Sega Rally. It was awesome back in the day and they released a new version with impressive tech but it just didn't hold up to be next-gen quality.
The screenshots look pretty good for being a work in progress. However they don't show any of the cars and to have it be released this October on 4 different gaming systems, one would expect them to be further along.

I for one was very disappointed in the movie. For having actually read the book the movie did not portray it very well. It got the main point across but main characters and key scenes were either left out or worse, changed entirely.
As far as a game, I don't think it would be done right and therefore should not be done at all.
Herein lies the issue with demos...
First off, a demo is supposed to be a piece of the final/finished game. However some devs and gamers alike end up calling an open beta of a game, a demo and then they tend to place judgement on that beta as if it were a demo. This is the issue with demos today. I know that some of this news is already known but being a Gamefly affiliate I received an email just recently confirming that the process of converting the games is practically finished with PC but MAC is still in the works. I figured I would share this news with every one else.

Since they are clearly going for the most realistic looking simulator racing game I am wondering when we will see damage/physics. The driving looks like NFS Shift but less intense and more real however there are still slight movements when accelerating and braking which is good. For pre-alpha the graphics are already looking amazing but the physics of handling will be the real testament to it being the best sim racer.
Forza 4 is the best racing game on 360, and GT5 is best on PS3. If you have both consoles you should have both games as they offer different features and abilities but both are good in their own way. Why do people need "their" game to be better? I don't understand fanboys personally...
OT: Video is neat. It's always cool for me to see behind-the-scenes of how games are made. Impressive technology.
It's fun, and requires tons of teamwork but its a sharp learning curve.
