What's still upsetting to me is how Far Cry 2 and 3 are at all related to the original Far Cry. It's like they are just using the name to sell it. Regardless, Far Cry 3 looks interesting so far. I want to try it myself though. A demo perhaps.
I started with computers when I was about 10. I remember AOL 3.0 being the first "internet". I never enjoyed/got into programming but I was a gamer from the get go. Since I liked computers early on I figured I would learn everything I could and took a bunch of classes in highschool then got my degree in Computer Science/IT. Now I work for a company as primary tech support and unless this is the new NBC show "Revolution"...I feel technology and the knowing of it will be a v...

I don't get the sites review system. Everything is a 10..?
Even when STEAM comes to linux later this year the games themselves still have to be developed to work with Linux. So essentially games will be full multiplatform between PC, MAC, and Linux. Once that happens then yes, I will make the switch to Linux. Until then I am a Windows guy so I can continue to game.
You know you play too much team fortress 2 when you think Demos means demoman figuratively speaking...
But yes, I think every game needs a demo. If devs are too afraid to make a demo then why should we fork over the money to buy their game.
Also, a demo is a shortened aspect or small part of the finished game. Not a beta...which is an unfinished product.
Ok, so here's what I gather from this video. Bear in mind this is the first gameplay video I have seen of Forza Horizon.
1. The damage model has either been toned down or is turned off. Other then the spoiler falling off the car shows no cosmetic damage whatsoever in comparison to other Forza games.
2. The race track that this takes place on looks impressive as far as environment goes but this is off screen so that's really saying something.
3. The c...

Ammo is not just bullets, but RPGs, hand grenades, and M320 grenades.
Metal Gear solid told a story with actual television footage. It was just a slightly rewritten history basically but that's what made it so immersible was the fact that it used true events in history.
Same with Uncharted series. Each story is based off of a real explorer and such, just with modified story lines that push past the realism but still you can relate to the real explorers.

I think @constipatedgorilla is saying since you bought it via PSN that there is no refund so regardless of good score or not you are stuck with it. While he has a valid point I feel that he went about it in a irrational way that was unnecessary. I for one have it for PC and can say that if you enjoyed the 1.6 days then you will enjoy this. It plays nothing like CS: Source.
It releases August 21 for PC...not sure about consoles.
Edit: It looks like it releases on every platform on Aug 21.
This looks quite entertaining no lie. Would love a demo to see how the gameplay feels but the look of it has me intrigued to say the least.
Yea, but Dirt: Showdown didn't have cockpit view. Riddle me that...
The game will be much faster then the previous as one can only expect it to be one of the last PS3 titles. That means that the engine they currently have will simply be upgraded/modified. Not built from scratch like GT5 was (for the most part). So one can only expect GT6 to not take as long.
The problem with F2P games is that 90% of the time the people willing to pay for in-game items are always at an advantage. It's almost guaranteed that the game isn't balanced well. Only if there is a crafting ability like TF2 so even if you don't find, or pay for the item you can still craft it.
Wow, this seems to add a new level of complexity to the already popular RTS series. I am intrigued to see how this affects the overall strategy.

Yes it is...it's just not being used in the right context. He should have used "Especially". #grammarnazi

Classic Tony Hawk feel is a good sign and very intriguing.

The first FarCry came out in 2004 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... The recommended requirements was windows 2k for pete's sake. Of course the models were going to look crappy. Even the graphics today aren't bad but they are nothing to write home about but again that was 8 YEARS ago. I am just saying to call this a "Far Cry" franchise is so far fetched considering none of the t...
