But this isn't a review, so why so harsh? This is just a journalist having a go at the game and the website recording the footage. He hasn't been employed to review it...
This was cringe to watch but people need to chill out a bit. Not all journalists reporting on storms for CNN are storm experts. I get it, you're all passionate gamers that would give your left testicle to work for Venture beat and get paid (properly, not through Ad revenue as a YTuber claiming to be anti-media... oh, the hypocrisy), but journalism is first and foremost about being a good writer/and or presenter. Not to mention the fact that if this was me playing a side-scroller, I'd ...
Spot on.
Well, it does offer some information on how much revenue is earned from gaming. I mean... who cares how they rank really? It's more just about how much they earn and how much muscle they have to flex. The biggest takeaway for me is that Nintendo can't really afford to **** up as much as people think they can. They don't have Microsoft money... they don't even have EA money.
To be fair, ND touted Lost Legacy as more than just DLC, though. It's $40... It got a physical release... I get everybody wants to hate on journalists/media for calling it as it is, but lets be real, this isn't your normal DLC. It should be judged as a full on game, especially given that this is all we're getting of UC for a long long time.
"gaming journalist" ? Wtf are you talking about, lol? Gamingape is a blogsite that does very little traffic. Their authors are likely not paid, and probably never will be. They are gamers just like you, so chill out with your accusations and generalizations.
Lots of these games don't feature those sorts of microtransactions.
Operating revenue and overall net profit up by nearly 10% this quarter. Doesn't sound too bad to me.
TW3 and Arkham Knight stick out to me as the best deals. I also enjoyed Batman Telltale... def a solid story.
I've noticed lots of girls playing on the servers I've played on too. Cool to see really... I think MMO's are actually super popular with female gamers as a whole.
Can't wait to see if Cyberpunk hits the same sort of numbers as TW3. I'm surprised Dragon Age Inquisition didn't make it to this list.
He isn't a has-been ranting for the sake of ranting, though. Spector is largely right in what he's saying... Even Horizon Zero Dawn, which was super awesome, is just a rinse and repeat of everything we've seen before.
Super mature dude. It's an opinion piece. Do you contribute to n4g or games media at all?
You can only list what is official data, though, right?
I won't be buying Switch until there is access to classic games.
lol, the three games that looked awesome on Xbox One X can be played elsewhere without paying $500. What is the point of this thing?
Inside-like? Yes please!
Definitely between Sony and Microsoft. If you had asked me two years ago, definitely Sony, but Microsoft have made massive progress recently.
I played it at a preview event and found it choppy and generally awful to play. Maybe, just maybe, you aren't a professional journo like this reviewer and you have something to learn/consider. Imagine that! Someone who has been involved in the games Industry for over a decade, working for the biggest gaming site in the entire world, getting paid nearly 100k in an industry that pays f*** all might know more than you!!!! SHOCK HORROR
lol, surely everyone.
