I can see where this guy is coming from, and the gamepad does have a lot of potential, especially in RTS games. Having PC RTS games,like Battle worlds: Kronos on the wiiu using the gamepad would be an interesting experience.

Realistic Car Racing- While it might not be as "realistic" as GT or Forza, F-Zero is fun, hard, and addictive as hell, maybe if nintendo helped the franchise evolve on the wiiu it could be nintendo's forza or GT.

I just want to play the amazing games of nintendo's Ip, like I did during the Gamecube era, but I by no means want this console to fail.
I don't want them to make an ALL-POWERFUL console with BLAST PROCESSING, all I want them to do is gain third-party support, which the gamecube also had little to none of. But I also want a gamecube like era for it's games, you must admit many of their best works with many of their franchises took place in this time (F-zeroGX, Starfox assault, SSBM, Pikmin 1+2, Metroid Prime series, and animal crossing) Nintendo always has something up their sleeve, and I hope they come out of this rut...

I don't know about frostbite, but the Wiiu can run the Unreal Engine 4 and so can most smartphones, and current gen systems. I haven't heard any official representative say the Wiiu can't run the frostbite engine, only that they won't support it on the Wiiu, same with the Unreal Engine 4.

@TongkatAli I was under the assumption nintendo outsourced the 3D screen development to another company, but anyways it was a former sony employee and nintendo needs to pay him 30.2 million nothing more, thats about a dollar for each 3DS out now, they don't need to give him a cent of future revenue of the 3DS.
I'm having trouble taking this poll seriously, I mean where are the other consoles, Why only playstation 4. Why not put a new PS3, Xbox, wii, Wiiu category. Why does the PS4 get its own category. I sense bias, but that's just me. With the summer update the loading times should be shortened again, but I might be wrong.
When I think of a gaming renaissance, I think of developers being more creative with games, and using their resources to make an experience one could immerse themselves into. I think of this, and not just the sales involved with it.
The monster hunter 3 port already came out in december in japan, so the boost was really because of dragon quest.
