Erm PC has the most exclusives of any platform FACT. Just thought I would remind people..
People always bring price into these arguements, initial price outlay yeah PC does seem more expensive but once you add up your live/ps+ sub over 10 years of console life plus the console premium on top of games (most games cost double on console compared to PC versions and I'm not even counting steam sales here I just got Batman Origins PC for £22) PC is looking a DAMN sight cheaper over time. It was the same with PS3 and Xbox 360 last gen, Xbox 1 seemed the cheapest at first glance...
The fact is they got outshined by PC hardware thats over 2 years old my 7970 plays BF3 at 1080p at 120FPS. It will run BF4 no doubt at 90+ as the game is ran on the same engine and won't be that much of an upgrade in terms of graphics. The console version runs at 720p, they couldn't get its 1080p unless they dropped it to 30fps and then couldn't even keep that stable or I think they would have done that as 30FPS was fine all last generation.
PCs already beat it even with games being optimized for PS4. They have admitted already Battlefield will be locked at 720p as they cant even do 1080p 60fps. A Mid range PC can handle it (around £600-£700) Based on specs of the game (very similar to BF3) They can trade off the 720P and get 1080p but then they would have to drop the frames to 30FPS. The fact is they still cannot get 1080p 60fps on AAA games apart from simple games like Racing sims just proves consoles are still MILES ...
Well DUH! If they wasn't this far in production by now there would be no end of November launch date..
No way near premature when your shipping millions you need to start now if you didn't you wouldnt make demand. I would like them to send IGN one along with Sony so we can get some real game footage toher than dev kit footage.
How can you be gutted? You can still get it, neither console is out yet so its easy to get a differnt console. Or even better just go PC. get nex gen graphics now and had full backwards compatibility.
Agreed Free Radical died off by making Haze and other titles instead of a new TS game. I mean make new games great if your studio can handle it but why give up your cash cow thats keeping your business going? That was just silly..
I'm upset this is coming to current gen consoles. It means the game will be held back thanks to current gen restrictions..
MS have released all the specs on the console and they went into depth aswell can we drop the rumours now? We know what it can do and thats that. Sony PS4 is a little more vague as we only got a basic shout but we know its more powerful. This shouldnt really affect 3rd party titles too much like with last gen when you actually play them. The only people butthurt with which is more powerful is those who care about who wins those head to head articles. Real gamers follow there games and experie...
So excited as thanks to these new consoles PC is gonna rule this generation. it's stupid not to go with PC. It's gonna be the lead platform for most games and will look better on PC. Not to mention cheaper over time so why bother with the consoles??
You can keep installs on external and just install what you need when you play, solved.. Not a bad idea and you cant install games on external HDD on Xbox either, you can on PC but lets be honest PC does everything.. However PC has trouble running games off external HDD as its a really dumb idea for reasons I am not even gonna get into. I played BF3 on max on a £120 graphics card at release and I reckon it will be around the same for BF4 as they are really well made unlike crysis so you don't need a stupidly powerful PC to max the game out and make it look amazing. This is thanks to the engine and creators.

New FF probably wont see release for yet another 3 years minimum in which they will tease 16 and we wont see until next generation.. It only takes them 10 years to make a freaking game these days..

thanks to multiplatform devs trying to make the same game on both consoles I doubt we will see the difference until some dev really doesn't care about parity like Squre-Enix showed last generation with FF13 when we saw that PS3 was more powerful than 360. The differnce back then was to get the power out of PS3 you gotta develop for years and S-E does that most devs don't which is why 360 always looked slightly better in comparison videos. It was simply easier to develop for.
