Miyazaki should not let go his ego to his head. Sekiro looks only slightly better (graphically and technically) than his other games released 10 years ago :D :D :D, but still he is "God". Sincerely I'm more excited about the next God of War game than the next FromSoftware game, because I know it won't look much better than Sekiro and Dark Souls (graphically and technically) and won't feel much more diverse than his previous games. To each his own (I prefer Cory) ...
Cory games are not only focused around strorytelling, they're also focused around dynamic gameplay-mechanics and combat animations. I never played a FromSoftware game as dynamic as the majority of GoW games (FromSoftware does not seem to be able to create such high level animations and dynamics). That's the reason why I play the GoW games to this day, while my FromSoftware games are collecting dust in the shelf, especially Dark Souls 3 (in my opinion one of the worst entries in the ser...
You're right! Cory is the better game designer. I find this Miyazaki dude vastly overrated within the game industry, he is often hailed as the holy grail of video game design when he is clearly not. He is not even able to put out games that are on the same technical level as other games of today and still he is hailed like some kind of god figure. Animations in his games are rather stiff and not on par with most other games of today. I still play God of War games (especially God of War 2)...
Good game, but God of War holds the top spot for me. Most brutal and awesome game by Sony. I liked Horizon's main character a lot, but Kratos is one of a kind. No need for further comparisions, both bombed in a positive way. I want a Killzone 2 remaster. My favourite Killzone by far plllllsssss ...
Looks like Miyazaki-San ... :D
I have to agree with you. So many disagrees for speaking the truth, but I guess believers will buy everything. For me they're starting to get repetitive. It's starting to feel like playing the same stuff over and over again ... but in a different coat. What's up with Miyazaki? He got a lifetime achievement award for producing the same stuff over and over again? I'm wondering ...
That's what I'd call "milking" a franchise to the bones ... won't buy anymore. I already own the ones that were released some years ago and the remakes for the PC ...
From a technical standpoint, Sekiro looks kind of dated ... not really on par with the other games of today. That's just my impression ... maybe I'm wrong.
This game doesn't excite me as much as their previous games. Some years ago I used to be really hyped each time I read the name FromSoftware or Hidetaka Miyazaki. Nowadays their games seems too similiar, nearly the same thing in a different vest, sorry. I wait for the reviews, I'm sure they will be good. I ask myself how long will it entertain me before I will get the feeling that I'm always playing the same game by them ... and I used to think they're the best of all time. ...
No. There is a great number of sequels which provide a lot of exciting content and real graphical / technical improvements. They really feel like a successor to the prior game (unlike Destiny which feels like a dlc).
No thanks. For me it's a clear pass after the demo, it's feels like a "big" dlc to the first one, just to make money.
Looking at Microsoft's game catalogue ... I don't think so. I can play nearly every Xbox One game on my Pc with mods and further options.
Sony is delivering on daily basis, it's really amazing. I've played the demo of Knack II which was uploaded suddenly on the european ps store and I was positively surprised by it. Sadly I can't say the same about Microsoft ...
:O
And I will welcome it too with open arms, with very open arms after the material they showed so far ...
Seems like a great production. It will look brilliant on my PS4 Pro, but I wonder how it will look on a well-built Pc ... curious.
Everything looks fine, really excited.
Is there a demo to test the game?
No, there's a small difference: the are big games that might be slightly overrated and there are big games that are waaay too overrated. Halo belongs to the second category.
Icoooooooooo ....
