I mean Dark Souls 1 was very well balanced too between not compromising on originality and wanting to reach commercial success, but I can't say the same about the rest, sadly ...
If Miyazaki claims to be 'original', why does he need people like George R.R. Martin? Of course it's a big name, you could sell more ... but c'mon ... because I don't find Martin's books on the same level of originality as the FromSoftware games, totally different. How do they match (other for more commercial success at the expanse of compormising a more original vision)? Sellout much? Some say they're the best developers in the industry, but for me they're get...
The FromSoftware games were never known to offer other levels of difficultiy other than difficult. That's their key to success. Always will be ...
They're already in the game like living and animated sculptures, why should I buy a static one? Wondering ... for much less cash I can get animated ones ...
Let's be honest. No. I would use the money for other things ...
If I had a little bit more money, I would use it for other things (really) ...
Big fan, but I wouldn't buy a sculpture for so much money ...
No thanks! The dark Victorian setting has been done too often within the last years. I would like to see something new, let's see if Miyazaki and FromSoftware can reach the same quality of Bloodborne, but with another setting ... if not, my theory of overratedness will become real ... Dark Souls 3 was not very long-living, Sekiro I didn't even bother to buy ...
You watch me watching gameplay streams? What's up son? Are yoo out of your mind? You stalkin' me? Brooo creepy bro ...
Son ...
Maybe I should worry about you my beloved son ...
You mean god of war and monster hunter are nothing like sekiro, because sekiro is like god of war and monster hunter son, you're clearly done and not only for today! Lololololololololololol! Why "lol"? What are you like (15)? You can clearly see the God of War inspiration aswell as several other fast-paced games. Why do you still argue about it? I was just talking about inspirations, what's wrong with ya' son (lol)? You sound childish to me son of sons :D .....
...
Should I really buy it ... ? I'm still concerned ... still buy?
Sekiro is clearly inspired by God of War. I also saw some Monster Hunter similiarities (one ape boss move set is strongly copied by the Blangonga from the Monster Hunter series). Inspiration is important, but this time they took the easy route.
@Chronoforce
Not really. God of War games are not really standard "hack n' slash" games. You#re clearly wrong. Everything fits perfectly: character, story, gameplay, music ... just everything. God of war doesn't need all to complex grininding "systems" to be a more interesting and enjoyable gameplay experience than your Miyazaki games : )

GoW games are polished much better, every section is enjoyable. The same can&...
@Batman
You're talking about "mash-up", Sekiro seems to be a good "mash-up" of different games. If Miyazaki is better than Cory, why did he need to be inspired by God of War with Sekiro? I see many similiarities to God of War in Sekiro. Sekiro is clearly inspired by God of war and several other games. It looks like a cheap japanese copy of God of war and those other games to me ... without any real character depth of course. How is that? Still Miyaza...
@Batman
I have the same opinion about Miyazaki. I don't think he's better than Cory. For me they have not improved enough technically to justify the full price tag of their games. They're "gorgeous" like you said, but "gorgoeus" art deco without personality or any real character depth is not enough for me. Miyazaki and Fromsoftware games are more reputation than the rest. They certainly do not lack the 'coolness' factor, but that'...
@Chronoforce
You must be talking about Sekiro. Sekiro looks like to be a hack and slash with a bland protagonist, a really boring-looking and empty protagonist without real backstory. Kratos has much more background story and personality than this skinny and bland-looking Sekiro main protagonist. I liked Miyazaki more in the beginning ...
I don't want to sound harsh to his fans, now that he has won everything money, fame and achievements), he seems to...
@Chronoforce
Yes, after playing Ico. Miyazaki was inspired by Ueda. Ueda is really one who created his own genre within the game industry.
oh man a Ico remake would be great (if they managed SotC). That would be crazy (I pick Ico and Demon's Souls) ...
They're still among the top 10 developers for me, but not the best anymore (Naughty Dog, Sony Santa Monica, Guerilla Games and even Team Ico (even though they didn't produce much in the last years) still hold the top spots for me. Heck, I even prefer to play Mario Kart and Mario games over Dark Souls and any other FromSoftware game nowadays, sadly (once they became more popular with Demon's Souls and Dark Souls I thought they would have ereased the top developers in the industry a...
