For a while it really was the infrastructure. Now that has been proven to be leagues ahead, it is the connection to the infrastructure. Why don't we let the people who are paid to do these things (read: professionals) worry about what exactly can and cannot be delivered through the users' connection.

For the longest time, it really didn't have any compelling games. Just like the 360 has had a serious lack of new and compelling IP's of late.
PS4 at E3 did not impress as far as new games were concerned. It seemed they blew their exclusive load back in Feb and showed just multiplats, known games and one new exclusive.
All this WILL of course change in due time, however as it stands their exclusive games line up is rather lackluster.
People just prefer not to listen to an uneducated an inexperienced person on the subject of Forza Motorsport.
It has been said a bunch of times that Forza Motorsport has a host of different settings, including all assists of to simulate real driving. People like you like to ignore this and use its accessibility against the series even though it is actually a great thing.

Good grief why do people struggle with this SIMPLE concept!!: Just because a person buys an Xbox One/PS4 next gen, does not mean that he/she had only an X360/PS3 this gen.
A person could very easily have owned an X360 this gen but have intentions of only buying a PS4 next gen. This very person may have also played The Witcher 2 on 360.
