Sony are better at pleasing the customer when there's no problem.
Microsoft is better at pleasing the customer when a problem occurs.
Take my experiences for example.
When my 360 got e73 I called Microsoft and they sent a guy to my door the next day to replace my console. I was suprised cause I expected to wait at least a week. Also when I had troubles buying Gold via my dashboard, they gave me a free month's subscription even though the ...
Selling 2 buildings to the amount of billions and cutting 10 000 jobs had nothing to do with it. -___-
He did a great job and lets not detract from that, but lets not drag Howard through the mud. When Kaz turns another profit this year through actual day to day business then we can compare him to Mr Stringer.
They thought their stuff didn't stink and that people would be falling over themselves just to get at the next playstation.
Humble pie, crow and just desserts were served with a side order of the dish best served cold and SONY realised that the days of skating merely on the ps and sony brand were over.
Their turn-about has been fantastic for gamers though. They finally righted their ship but at the cost of billions in losses and massive market share losses.

Yes SONY still do. About $40 000 per patch.
This means only the certification process stands between gamers and getting regular patches on 360. Great news for indies on the 360.
I hope MS reconsiders their indy policy as far as the One is concerned.
@otakukid. Do you not see the xbox 360 in the title? Does the xbox 360 compete with next gen consoles? Clearly I'm refering to the ps3. In which case, yes they still charge for patches.
Just highlighting that it is an industry norm that they are breaking. 2/3 console makers used to do it is what I was trying to convey.
I was just suprised at how many people didn't seem to believe it as if it were an isolated practice. Judging by my disagrees, many still do. Baffling.
What the hell? Taking pot shots because sony bricked consoles? How is this r****d walking about with 4 bubbles still?
I'm gonna keep my PS3 un-updated as I know with my luck I'll end up with a bricked console.
I've experienced YLOD and error e73 this gen, both times mere months of getting my new console. No more.
I can't believe SONY still charges to replace/repair consoles bricked by their firmware.
SONY still do.
Curious how you wanna point out every little bit of negative about a positive xbox 360 related story.
Does it eat you up when there's positivity surrounding Microsoft?
Makes all those gt vs forza squabbles seem childish don't it?
Those aren't screenshots. Those are real life pictures! I refuse to believe otherwise. *plugs thumbs into ears*
**eyes melt**
Because it would require a constant internet connection. Something I'm sure you'd moan about situation reversed. I mean we all moaned about the 24 hour check-in, myself included. Imagine the outcry if it was always online.
So park your rear back down and zip it.
Fantastic. Thanx for derailing the whole discussion before it even begun. Now we have to listen to the gokiburi agenda instead of talking about the actual game.
They are giving us autovista for ALL cars. I want ALL cars to have interiors and look great.
It's cool being a jack of all trades, but sometimes polished quality is preferable to a hundred and twelve hondas.
I may not own a Veyron, but I'm pretty sure when you get inside one it doesn't look like the inside of a blackhole with a windshield. But hey, at least there are 800 or so other cars like it and the windshield keeps the rain from wetting my blackho...
Because servers are not exclusive they shouldn't talk about having them?
If something you own improves your life or experience you should shut up about it because someone else has it? Is that the gokiburi logic from now on?
ing his own horn.
Yes. Used game policy and DRM were deal breakers for me. I was explicit in that regard despite being impressed with the games.
Now that those policies have been chucked out, you just try and keep me from Forza 5, TitanFall and Project Spark.
I buy my consoles based on games. I don't however compromise on my rights to do with a game whatever I please, including lending it to friends or selling it.
Purely based on games, Xbox One has already won me.

Exactly, any game that can't simulate the inside of a vehicle cannot be classified as a simulator. Good catch Utalking2me
Gate Keepers out in full force trolling Xbox One.
Number 1 and 3 are a bit conspiracy theorist no?
