How do you know.... There's been a general aura of disappointment. The total sales don't mean all those people loved it.
In steam it's been utterly destroyed and no longer sells.
Not buying a console then for quite a while. If i were to buy these new iterations for sony and ms I will have spent over 1600 on consoles alone. for what people call the same generation. in the span of 3-5 years...ridiculous.
Its a shame really I still feel like sony exclusives have barely released from their first party studios since launch and we're already seeing new more powerful iterations of the consoles.
I do hope they dont plan on releasing anything newer for the next 10 or so years. That would be nice. Graphics already look amazing on current consoles, they should just focus on games.
No...just no. The same argument can be made for dlc and pre order bonuses and microtransactions.
Consoles should release as powerful and as efficient as possible day one. No dividing the experience between gamers.

The setting and genre is as overdone as hell...but its the story and mechanics that can make the game stand out.
Another SKU with different specs and priced as a completely new ps4. So. new console. new gen.
Face it. The next gen of pc usually hits the newer hardware like graphics cards and cpus and other technological advances....with consoles its no different no matter how you spin it....this is a new gen transition...do you remember ps4 and xbox launch....games continued to be supported on the older consoles for a time. Same thing will happen here.
Actually...um...sorry to disappoint but sony wants parity across their systems. At least with framerate anyways.
