Xbox came after Sega, Nintendo and Playstation... That coupled with being a US product and not having many Japanese looking games turns them away.

No. During the progress of a generation each holiday has lower hardware revenue since the price points and bundles only keep getting better. Its expected and obvious. Prices on the consoles don't go up on the holidays you know. Same will happen with the Playstation pro if it doesn't sell. I'm kinda expecting a repetition of the wiiu....the casuals, which is the driving force of most sales, will likely have no reason to purchase the 400$ upgrade.
