Who is surprised exactly.... Sony has a trend of showing awesome games we want way too early. Shenmue anyone? Practically all E3 game trailers are of games coming out late 2017 to late 2018 or beyond.
That being said people do realize Kingdom Hearts was announced earlier and still very little from them.

I too want Playstation to get off their ass... I also realize many games are in the works.... But they have been in the "works" since the beginning of this gen.... Which means all these games may launch nearing the end of the gen. Ps3 all over again but with a better starting price

Well if Xbox is going to be winning the months that they release games which is around the holidays and Playstation wins the rest of the months where they release games then Im pretty sure I see a correlation.
The real tides are in the games and that is subjective.
It is subjective regardless of platform. And that includes PC which conveniently very few people mention when they talk about sales or exclusives.

If you're sick of holding down A then stop doing that. Leap over and kick the enemies or don't go into cover.. What difficulty you playing at? Cuz if it's normal then you don't need cover.

5 years down the line, assuming it could even run all games at 4k 30, it will not be able to with later even more demanding games.

This game has been in everyone's radar. At least everyone that's played the previous game and or are serious about gaming awesomeness... Pc games are awesome.
This game, dishonored, bioshock, doom and wolfenstein as well as upcoming awesome title prey are all proof that the fps genre continues to innovate.

Why would there be concerns. Uncharted has already proved that games can look spectacular on these standard consoles.
umm. Phil already stated that it will be up to the devs on how they use that power.
Dont make stuff up. If the games can reach 4k then they will. If not it will be a lower resolution at the discretion of the developer. Microsoft is only trying to help devs not have to compromise...
and let us not forget...gamers wanted this resolution war.
Diversity isn't the issue. Japanese devs make Japanese games. Japanese devs have smaller budgets so they optimize for 1 or maybe 2 platforms and they prefer to go with the platform they've been working with all this time... Dev kits are expensive.... Xbox Would literally have to pay the devs to get their games on the Xbox. Apart from Japanese games the Xbox is fine with diversity.
