I agree. For the most part controllers are better third person action games unless you have to aim a reticle... Then it evens out. As the mouse would give me more precision.

Dark souls 3 had perfectly fine controller support FYI... I played that one on pc and the elite Xbox controller worked perfectly fine with it.
Probably just including the switch in the development.
With you on that. Doesn't help that the enemies are all over you and the infinite amount of nades they throw... Not to mention low ammo all the time.
The hardest part for me on the hardest difficulty was when you're going up the elevator with Elena... Near the end of the game.
Hence why you have to play on the difficulty above hard if you really want to play on hard.

Even normal pro controllers follow the Xbox layout. It's okay. Nothing to do with compatibility as I believe both are compatible. Have you seen the recent Playstation pro controllers? Yea those also followed the Xbox layout. GameCube... Same... Switch pro controller.... Again The assymetrical layout.

Agreed. They're useless... It's as not symmetrical therefore most Playstation gamers convinced that the PS controller is the best won't be able to use these very well. Well some of these. Must be abhorrent.

Perhaps. I talk to non hardcore friends about games and most of if not at all never know how the game is reviewing at all. Destiny, gears, Forza, dark souls, Skypie. .. To name a few that people I know play.
