In NA the game sold double the amount of the Japan release through word of mouth alone, the West is actually the biggest market for VC, at least was before going to the PSP.
A dumb decision by Sega, they should at least have made it available on the PS3 and PSP, Level5 made a smart decision by making and HD and handheld version of Ni Nu Kuni.

Beast RPG in TGS is Ni Nu Kuni, I fell like it's going to be one of the best of this generation.
Level5 and Atlus are currently the best JRPG makers IMOO.
