The PS3, it only dose 360 exclusive hardware.
I wonder if they will do a 360 emulator, but I don’t se the point of doing that just to play a handful of exclusives this whole consol cycle.

See this is the problem with reviewing as a job, they force themselves to play somting they never had interest in. if you don like adventure games don’t play them if you don’t like shooter don’t play them, its very simple.

500 million is just for advertizing, if you factor hardware and 3rd party commissioned games profit will be very slim, if there is any profit at all. I think Kinect not being a hit worldwide will hurt them.
And 3rd party publishers have to worry about their games not selling, so fare the only stuff moving are the launch titles.
Kinect finally reaches Moves 2 week old number, I think it has a chance to tie before the year ends.
I really didn’t think the Move had a chance vs Kinect, imagine my surprise when it will end the year neck and neck.
There are still many loose ends, like the Maker and all those Puls Fal'ce. If all the game is open and free like chapter 11 then it's going to be great.
Also need some NPC, the only real interaction was between the party members.
The first 2 years of the 360 were great, it was the only thing I played, after that it's all downhill, I only played 2 games on it in the last 2 years .
The Xbox30 is simply redundant now for the multi-consol owner.

The author makes good points, specially that MS focus on the casual, impulse-buying 360 consumers. And the PS3 the most relevant system on the market to core gamers by showcasing an unprecedented number of exclusives.
In fact even the PC is better for hardcore gamers in 2011, so I see it as a battle between the PS3 and the PC on one hand, and another battle between the 360 and Wii on the other.
I think they can afford it now, but they also need to advertize more, what's the point of having price-cut and great exclusives if only the few know about them?
Something like Eternal Darkness maybe?
Joy Ride, K Sports, K Adventures are one game spread on 3 disks they all suck, and averaging 4 or 6 in review scores isn’t exactly great. And so far most casual Move games suck as well.

U3 & R3 and prototype 2 had gameplay,We saw enough to know what the in real-time graphics look like.
And to be fair forza 4 is just an announcement, their was no official claim that it was real-time, its only some blogs assuming so.
In the end we may all be surprised and it turns out to be in game or pretty close.

This game uses simple swipe movements but even so it can't work on Kinect, the reason is you have to move in slow motion with Kinect because of the heavy lag or it wont register the movement.
