If consoles didn't have exclusives they wouldn't matter anymore, but we have to admit consoles is how we start playing in the first place
Seems the PS4 will be the defacto system for multi-platform games, you can say they have highest-console quality as an exclusive

Games are what matters, that is why I was disappointed big time with MS buying an already under development game, this dose not give us anything new we wer not going to get, just takes away from others, They should have spent the money on making 10 AAA exclusives, I promise you that would have really turnd the gaming community around.
If the BF4 and CoD reports turnd out to be true then we should start worrying about the X1 OS crash reports and frequent online disconnections, they come from the same sources, cancelling my pre-order till they sort things out.
This was just the IGN guy, he said the same thing about AC4 but they gave the game an 8 in the end.
Cant feel the hype
Remember everyone being hyped for Starhawk, a game with a more awesome idea of starfighters transforming into robots, and calling out whoul bases from space, but everyone lost interest very quickly.
The game changing difference is the bad level of jaggies on the X1, can barely make out the targets in the open maps

pleas man not another consol war, why should we care who sells more as long as they are successful enough to establish a large fan base that will bring us games.
As for DS vs. PSP, the DS was better because Nintendo are great publishers, the best of the big 3 IMOO. Sony need to make great games that take advantage of the NGP specs themselves and not wait for 3rd party developers to do the work.

The only thing keeping the 360 relevant is online play; the same will be for the PS3.
Like many say game size is too big, high speed downloads are still not widespread enough to download 20 GB files easily and quickly.
Another thing is the most market lost will be those who buy used or rent anyway.
The lost sales from PS3/PS4 are somewhere between 300m-600m so depending on the games budget I would say 5-8 AAA games
Making new games would have gotten real attention and respect, but what they did was just take somthing away from others, some pepole may like that typ of game and some may not, and certainly millions can play it on 360/PC
