It's a good thing they did this promotion. If I was in America and seen that the numbers in the price was higher (not the price itself) than in England I'd feel like I was getting ripped off.

The game genie and to a smaller extent action replay were essential because of the difficulty level of some games.
Also essential was watching gamesmaster to get the latest cheats.
But I love playing the old games on emulators on my pc.

I completed GoW 3 times. once by myself and twice in co-op with 2 different people. That was some good replay value but I think it's not about the size of the game or how many times you play it but the experience you had playing it and whether you felt that you got your money's worth from it.
