I havent read the artical yet but given the responses all i can say is funny how the ps3 droids can dish it out, for instance halo 3, but cant take it.

I think fanboys problems come from the fact that when M$ started paying for some exclusives £ony hadn't so used that as something to attack 360 fans but forgetting that £ony did it first (in relation to M$) and not realising that £ony would have to do it again.
Most of the problems come from PR guys and fans. On both sides.
Like claiming the ps3 is making a profit when its the gaming division that has the ps2 and psp making up for the ps3 losses.

Also the ps3 has been removed from the shelves of certain retailers here "wolleys for one" but that hasn't harmed it. It's all about the overall picture which is good for all 3 consoles.

Like I said before the ads are for stuff in live not for say, Burger king or nike.
If psn doesn't advertise playstation games or peripherals then good but I would expect most companies would want to try to grab your focus for whats available in places like live and psn.

Usually it's advertising things that tie in to xbox and gaming. Advertising things you can buy on live.
The only thing I can remember not being in live were ads for samsung flatscreen tv's but as thats what I game on I'd say it's quite apt, lol.

not trying to argue just my observation but I think the reason psn is constantly being improved compared to xbox live is because live has already gone through the improvement stage and now just odwn to being slightly refined.
Also I don't believe that psn when it comes to gaming offers close to what live does other than its free. But live cost about £3 a month not including discounts which is what this will cost if it comes to the uk.

I don't have a ps3 so i'm guessing you have those things.
I think its fine to charge for certain things like a mag, some dlc, films so I'm not sure where you're coming from.
I understand if £ony suddenly started charging to play online but they aren't, just for a optional mag.

Seeing as how you say no ps3 owner would ever get a 360 how do you know demos are 1GB on xbox live?
Some are but most weigh in at about 600-700MB, with no adverts.
Lower software sales, games being cancelled left right and and centre, and 3rd in overall hardware sales.

Thats not entirely true as every 360 game can be upscaled whereas thats not true for ps3. Yes the ps3 has more 1080p native but the 360 has that as well. Also a there are ps3 games than aren't or weren't 1080i or could be displayed on 720p tv's
If someone spent as much time on the 360 like they have on this then i would say as good or better going on the way multiplat games have turned out.
