Played the beta on PC. You guys are in for a real treat
Yea if it was yellow it could def be a Cerberus controller.
Somehow the orange doesnt stick out in my mind as Titanfall, but it is eye catching at first glance, which is what I think they were going for.
More like they go the way of Bioshock and Mass Effect
@Sammy777
PS3 was able to overcome the price point, and if you have actually used Kinect, would know that it is not a flop, and actually works pretty well.
They aren't compromising because they see it playing for them in the long run. Its not arrogance, its just business strategy. Its their vision for their product to have a Kinect, and they are not giving up on it because they think it will pan out
Because they arent... they are apples and oranges.
But somehow people are still going to use the success (or failings) of each to show how their console is superior.
It was alright. Nothing to write home about and probably not deserving another $60 if it came to the X1 (since its several years old now).
But the cinematics were awesome
You still have to purchase the game itself on top of the monthly fee
Idnk, Gears multiplayer is known for being small. It would change so much if it was just large scale battles like COD or BF
Not really an in depth review of the new version, mostly a recap of the previous with brief mention at the end. It kinda makes me believe the reviewer did not actually play the new one.
He just says:
New version-
-looks prettier
-X1 voice commands and gestures
-Extra tomb
-all DLC from original version (multiplayer maps and LC outfits)
I really like some new stuff here. I hope I can stalk people through the tall grass/mist in Fog.
Or put an IMS/IED in that trolly heheh
There are other smaller ones. For example on the snow map with the trains you can close doors so you cant get flanked.
You are right they are not super dynamic aside from a K.E.M strike. Nothing shifts gameplay in any meaningful way
Yea its two measly dollars. I spend more money just grabbing a soda and chips at the gas station.
We don't even know how exactly any AI will be used/ effect overall gameplay. We dont know if they are only just bots running around or something that hasnt even been shown in action yet.
We dont even know how AI works in diff gamemodes either. We can't really jump to arms or complain if we havent even seen anything from it yet.
In the end I trust the devs decision based on how gameplay chemistry works out for them. Smaller player counts can be equally...
You know what really ruins NFS? The fact that data is easily corrupted and restarts your progress back several levels every time you play the game. No way to manually save progress guarantees you are going to be screwed.
The game is fun, but so many poorly thought out details really ruin the experience (i.e not being able to turn off kinect or race offline.)
I watched a presentation of Watchdogs at NYCC in October and it was presented on the PS4.
While it did look awesome, there were frame rate drops, stutters, and texture issues during the gameplay and even cut scenes.
This was before it was announced they were pushing it back, and frankly I was relieved to hear they were. They game was not 100% polished even a month before release, and it was apparent.
So no, the games problems and the release ...
Thats a bummer (from someone who watches netflix everyday). Do you think its a prob with the ps4 or on the netflix app?
Or, it will grow and improve over the course of the year.
The consoles have given people the ability to share that ultra cool piece of gameplay with friends. Instead of saying "you had to be there" when you racked up a sweet combo, you can just show them.
I think thats pretty cool.cool.cool.cool
No you cant do all of those things with a Ps4, you are overselling it. And besides, I dont want to have to wear a headset every time I play a game to use the features. Besides the functionality of the Kinect is going to evolve over what few capabilities a mere headset can do.
I think its pretty rude and arrogant to say that someones choice of game console is conning them out of money.
If you think the experiences are synonymous, albeit with a $100 price differen...
:) Could really use it
Although the world building elements sound similar on paper, they feel nothing alike from experience.
I guess you could say LBP games are more nuanced, while PS is a more macro creation
