Because it's a private company that doesn't disclose its finances publicly (and isn't obliged to do so). Steam revenue was estimated to be $4.3B back in 2017, but I bet they took a hit with all dem AAA leaving the platform.
Not entirely true. ESO turned out so well after Zenimax Online Studios committed to it since its disastrous 2014 release, the same goes for No Man's Sky. Unfortunately for Anthem, there seems to be many other good Looter Shooters that it will be forgotten, as it doesn't present anything new or unique.
Tell you what, I am a PC gamer at heart, but never been this excited about a next-generation console. Can't wait to see Sony's exclusives and next-gen multiplatform games.
I know some people who are perfectly okay with spending $800 every 3 years to get one of those hot mobile flagships, but think that buying a console is expensive and requires a fortune. It's mind-numbingly stupid.
