Anthem is 2019's 4th best selling video game in the U.S. A lot of uninformed people who don't read news or join gaming communities were hyped for this game and 'it let them down.' Talk about the writing is on the wall all you want, those people would still amaze you with their naivety.
Nope, he is right. We still have this thing that flails over character models' heads called 'hair' (it isn't). And clothes still act like textures glued to the models' bodies. Heck, 2019, and we still can't get a proper model that weapons/clothes don't clip right in to the bodies, or part of the body sticking out of clothes/armours.
Because it was an online game that recieved fan-backlash from the very beginning. Had it been another Single-Player Fallout game, you would see praise and money pouring on it.
