What if my Internet farts and the game boots me to title menu? Happens to me frequently on games that aren't even multiplayer-focused like Bloodborne (for example).
Hey, you want me to believe that Stadia's lead engineer (who worked for Google and Microsoft for two decades and created the Chromecast) knows Google's infrastructure better than random Internet guys?! Impossible.
Sony is restructuring, combining different divisions in to one, lays-off staff (Marketing and PR) while offering re-interviews for positions in the new division, Xbox's Aaron encourages whoever doesn't land on a job to interview for poitions in Seattle, end of story.
There are no evils in here; just usual corporate world. Good on Xbox's part not letting talent go to waste, though.
That is a complete joke, I hope? Because EA never touches DICE in any way. They just let them do their thing. (Source? Former DICE employees on Battlefield Subreddit citing that DICE's problems lie in its lead designers/developers and managers who make devs work on things they don't believe in nor like.)
Since it was a mistake, I'd like to point out that games don't work like water filling a tank. They make use of whatever is available in your system without choking it. Those requirements aren't carving on stones. Have an 8GB of VRAM? It'll use 7. Have 6? It'll use 5.5. Have 16GB of RAM? It'll use 12. Have 32? It'll use 16. And so on. When playing demanding (AAA) games, the amount of memory should be the least of your concerns.
Ah... AMD's specifications sheet shows maximum memory size as 4GB and that would make sense using 128-bit bus.
And for the life of me I don't get why it needs an 8-pin connector instead of a 6-pin like the GTX 1060 if it uses 150W or lower. Either AMD is overspecing like they do with VRAM size, or RDNA is not as efficient when scaling.
