ICO was fantastic, Shadow of the Colossus was good, ICO 3 will be great as well. Franchises like this (and God of War, Final Fantasy etc.) are the reason I bought a PS3.
well atleast 1/10 is much better than 1/3. Still 10% is quite a lot especially when the install base of the 360 has increased as well so the new 360's are probably less faulty and the old one's RROD a lot.

360 only owners have no idea how good the PS3 is. I bought a 360 a couple of weeks ago and tomorrow I am sending it in because it can't read discs sometimes, it's soo good on the PS3 because it doesn't scratch discs and they always work, you don't get a stupid white screen telling you to "put this game in a 360 console", WTF THIS IS A 360 CONSOLE!!!!

Wow $30 Million and the game isn't even that good. What the hell did they spend that $30 million on??? I would have expected much better graphics and gameplay for that sort of money.
I think they spent a lot on voice actors, the voice acting is very good.
This story is so misleading, I thought it meant that Hideo was going to make a Metal Gear exclusively for 360. But this story is talking about a game that will compete with MGS4 on PS3, not even a Metal Gear, a copy.
MGS is good because it is unique, great story, movie-like script, great voice actors, great music. I doubt anything Microsoft try will match it.

The "hot five" 360 games in 2008 include 2 Multi-platform games??? Splinter Cell used to be good for the first couple of games, then it became crap, don't know how conviction will be.

It may look better on PC but never on the 360 (or PS3 if it was coming out), anyone who believes this is stupid. Crysis Maxes out graphics so much that 3 8800 Ultras in 3-way SLi can't even max out Crysis. Alan Wake and pretty much every other game looks nowhere near as good.
I can just about max out the settings of crysis on my PC (at a low resolution), it looks really really great except that it runs at 1 fps or something. :(
@videogames4life - you don't know what's going to happen in the future, the PS2 is still a very popular system in NA so why couldn't the PS3 be?
I expect the 360 to be selling more in NA this week and PS3 to be selling more in Japan as usual.
I kinda agree with mikeslemonade on the Rare issue, I just don't see 360's market buying games like Banjo. Although I would love another Banjo, those games were great apart from the talking gibberish

@1.6 - You should listen to the Criterion podcast that came out last week (I can't remember which one), but they basically said that when they were making Burnout, the gfx card in the 360 is much better than the PS3's gfx, but the PS3 is more powerful overall because the PPUs (Cell) can calculate a lot of data if you combine them with the GPU.
And if you can't believe that there is something wrong with you, a multi-platform game developer has said that the PS3 is more powerful,...
