These are not new, they just pulled from the video that they showed at E3
@1.1 - that is sooooo true
I don't think many people will even buy this game anyway. But nice to see that fans of the game can enjoy it on either console now.
OMG an anti Blu Ray article in 2009! 2008 called he wants his story back. Lol j/k
but seriously everything will break if you don't treat it with respect. But from personal experience BD is still a LOT more durable than DVD, i have no scratches on any of my Blu-Rays
Please don't do this Remedy, episodic games suck, look at Half-Life it takes years for the next episode to come out. However if they are just saying it is part of a bigger story i.e. a trilogy of games, then I don't mind.
I couldn't agree more with what he's saying. I played GTA4 on 360 for a few hours and got bored (like I did with every other GTA game except for San Andreas), and with Super Mario Galaxy I played it literally for 20 mins and was so p***ed off with the controls that I haven't played the game since.
SMG was/is over-hyped, how hard can it be to make Mario turn around on the spot? Instead he does a stupid running thing and falls into core of the planet.
@1.10 - Oh OK alright. I just expected something more when Cliff Blezinski came out at E3. Still hopefully this is good.
@1.3- yeah seems impossible but i knew exactly what to do after playing the game so many times. The bit that was the most tedious was the key cards bit towards the end. Easily my favourite PS1 game
I was also like wtf, but I remember back in the day I beat MGS1 in 3 hours 15 mins, which was my best time. Must have played it over 20 times through though.
But still I don't expect Shadow Complex to be a must have game, it'll probably be good, but I would have preferred a bigger game from Epic.
That genesis thing is almost definitely illegal.
@1.4 - It requires minimal HDD space cos it is essentially a video stream. Also the games he shows in the demo are pretty high calibre, i.e. not just arcade titles.
Why won't it work? It really needs minimal effort on Sony's part for this to work, as it plays games through a video stream. Doesn't require too much RAM or 3D acceleration which means it will easily work, if Sony want it to work.
Very unrealistic list, there are plenty of games coming in 2009, but most of these listed are 2010 games.
It's kind obvious that this would happen, cos all future games will be using Motion+, so if you're tech is outdated you can't play anything. Therefore you are forced to upgrade.
Technically, if Sony is granted this patent, it means that MS can't use a similar concept with Natal. Which means you'll always have to have an imaginary wheel or an imaginary bat. Whereas the PSEye could use an actual thing so that you don't feel like an idiot when you are playing a game.
So if MS do want to do this, Sony could sue them, but I dunno if it would actually stand up in court.
Wow looks amazing, but I was hoping for something a little more unique, character/weapon design looks a lot like Ninja Gaiden. But still good news for Xbox only owners, now they'll get to experience a little bit of how awesome GOW is (seen as some of the people who worked on the original God of War are working on this game).
I could tell that there was a huge difference in speed immediately.
I don't see why this is news, yeah its a big number but wouldn't you expect that anyway cos everyone would upgrade immediately right?
What if Sony realised they should never announce a game too early (cos of KZ2 delaying), and just said the games were cancelled altogether, but they are actually working on them in secret?
That would be awesome.
The game is obviously not for everyone, I mean it's a photography game. Making up stupid article titles just shows that you are butthurt for spending money on a game that you knew you won't like.
I think they are still working on that, they mentioned it a while ago, I just can't remember where
