@1.9 - That is very true, you can see this if you look at Burnout Paradise, Mirror's Edge, COD4 and pretty much every game that is developed on PS3 first or specifically for the PS3.
@1.1 - It's actually more than that. Libery City Stories has apparently sold 5.7 million copies according to VGChartz.
How come every single 360 title seems to be a Natal launch title? None of the announced games will be Natal titles, they may support it (doubtful), but it won't be the primary controller.
They will make specific games for Natal, who the f*** wants to play Alan Wake with no controller? Plus Natal is coming Late 2010, Alan Wake is coming Early 2010 (or at least I hope it is).
@5.4 - Dunno if you know this, but Futurama has been renewed, i.e. it is coming back. Celebrate.

I'm still thinking this is a placeholder date, however the more I think about it, the more I can see it being announced later on.
There are still 2 major tradeshows left this year, European, gamescom, and TGS. Gran Turismo series is MASSIVE in Europe, bigger than Japan and North America combined. It would make a lot of sense to announce the game's release at gamescom. OR because it is a japanese developer, they might want to announce at TGS.
The only thing that goes ...
Worst thing about this gen...new fanboy gamers. Guy above is a prime example. Just because he is too DUMB to understand the gameplay it automatically sucks.
Xbox fanboy what a surprise(!)
@1.1 This is why...if they announced a price cut at e3, they lose millions and dont sell much units because there's no must have title for the average consumer. If they announce at tgs it is close to the holiday season which is the best time for console sales. Plus they have 2 great games coming out r&c to promote to kids and uncharted 2 for hardcore gamers
Yeah I honestly can't wait for this game. Farenheit is one of the best games I've ever played, and a very memorable experience. Can't wait to play Heavy Rain.
It's a damn place holder date, if it was coming this year, it would have been announced at E3. Whenever it comes I'm buying, don't care how long it takes, I can wait for the best driving game period.
Remember when the same thing was said about bioshock.
Figure it out.
One thing i dont like about conviction is that stupid thing where they put the writing on the wall. but other than that it looks really good, hopefully it keeps its stealthy gameplay
This is obvious damage control. They don't want people to stop buying the 360 now, so they had to say this. The new SKU will be out in 2010, they just don't want anyone to know yet.
It seems like he's just talking about Natal. However if he isn't this means Xbox sales will most likely slow down until the new SKU is released. Which is why it could affect Sony positively Murderdolls.
Less sales for MS, means more sales for Sony. Theoretically.
My favourite PS1 game ever. You've got to heat the card key up Snake!!!!
@1.12 - It's obvious you don't own a PS3. I own a PS3 and 360 and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that in every case of your argument, you are wrong.
Banjo looks nowhere near as good as Ratchet & Clank. Texture quality, models, voice acting (which is none existent pretty much in Banjo), and gameplay is much much better in Ratchet & Clank.
Gears of War 2 looks good, textures and bump-mapping effects help this, but imo it sometimes looks over-sharpen...
Gump's comment is very fanboyish, and off-topic, but he's still right. KZ2 is the best looking console game to date, it's almost impossible to argue with that unless you're blind.
On topic - Basically all I get from this article is the games look the same, but framerate suffers a little on PS3 version. Or am I reading it wrong? These comparisons really need pictures, but either way as long as the experience is the same, it doesn't matter whether the game looks minutely difference...
Best game ever confirmed!

Stupid people complaining about pointless things as usual. Why Dis is retarded, the game doesn't need to change anymore than it already has. If you change all the stuff you mention, it becomes another dumb shooter, which only dumb fanboys like you want.
Gamers don't want to play the same generic gameplay, at least MGS is different. Also the writing in MGS is fantastic, and if you're complaining about MGS4 writing you're retarded, because it is the part of the story that makes the...
It most likely requires some sort of storage to store facial/voice recognition data. Which means it will only use a few mb of data like there is on the memory card
@1.6 - Yes they do.
@1.2 - Please don't call those retards out, when they start talking you can't make them stop.
