He pulled them out of his ass obviously.
Well deserved top spot for Killzone 2, although the year isn't even over yet.
Would be a very wise decision from Sony to release GT5 this year. If everything comes together at the same time, I can honestly see SOny winning the holiday season. PS3 Slim + Pricecut + GT5 = Win.
Also it makes sense not to release MAG this year, because it would be too close to MW2 release, and every shooter fan will be playing MW2, not MAG.
@1.8 - I liked Flower much much more than flow, Flow is just a flash game quality, Flower is next-gen quality.
@1.10 - As said before, TGC aren't first party devs, they have a 3 game exclusivity deal with Sony (of which they have made 2 games).
@1.6 - No they just have a 3 game exclusivity deal with Sony.
@above - I agree to a certain extent, however if the games cost less than $10 and most of them are $0.99 (like on the iPhone) you don't really care that much.
Obviously with PSPgo you HAVE to download even the full sized games, so it could be a problem.
I don't think TGC will just up and go to MS, they will have 3 games worth of experience on PS3, meaning they could easily make another game for PS3. They will most likely do something multiplat or something with the motion controllers/Natal multiplat.
If it was only on 360 it is more likely to sell a million than if it's only on PC. I don't see why they took such a ridiculous decision to make it PC exclusive, piracy is way too rampant on PC.
I may get it on PC, because my PC will be able to run it easily, but I dunno if I'll like the game.
Lol "A retailer", inFAMOUS is awesome, buy it.
Looks good, kinda fallout-y. Probably will end up getting the PC version, but I seem to be playing PS3 more than any other platform lately. Dunno, I guess I'll just go for the first format that is released.
@1.5 - What do you mean you people?!!
Sony just announced a service to pay devs for their games if they are good didn't they? Anyway it's good to have some standards.
Home sucks. It really does, but there are some people that like this service, and for them it should stay open. There are free mini-games to play and I'd like to have the option rather than not.
At the end of the day Home is making a LOT of money for Sony, micro-transactions are definitely the way forward.
FULLY FUNCTIONAL Night vision goggles.
£120, and then people complain PS3 costs too much, when they just paid 3 times the price for one game (-_-)
Sad to see that though, cos Vidzone probably is the PS3s first non-gaming killer app. It's really really good.
@1.8 - You can if you take into account the fact that the install base of the wii is a LOT higher than ps3
@1.6 - infamous was released on last few days of May and managed to shift 178k so it did quite a bit better than Conduit. But it could get better sales in the long run, Uncharted 1 only 82k in its first week and went on to sell a lot more
It was obvious that Prototype would outsell inFAMOUS because the install base of 360:PS3 in US is 3:1, also bear in mind that PS3 owners had a choice between two similar games and most of them bought infamous, but obviously some people bought prototype on PS3 aswell.
Infamous is still the better game no matter how badly/well it sells, oh wait I forgot fanboys only care about game sales, gamers care about games.
Why does everyone always say this before the game is even made??? Devs always say they're working on a AAA game or something like that.
The only people who decide whether a game is AAA isn't the devs, or the reviewers, it's people who play the damn game, the consumers! Cos you know, Too Human and Lair were AAA games weren't they?
@above - Trine is next week.
