@1.11 - Eyepet market is kids & families of course. Because it is basically like a cyber pet, or like those DS games Petz, are you honestly telling me, as a gamer, you want to buy Milo?
It has no market, which kid wants to play with a virtual kid?
@1.5 - But lifestyle games like Sims and Second Life have a market, Milo has no market. Is a gamer going to buy this? Even WiiFit had a market, the casual crowd. Only market I can think of for Milo is pedos, seriously
This game is probably the best game Square Enix has released on Xbox 360. Everything else is worse than this.
@1.3 - Uncharted is not like Gears of War, people only say that because of it's cover system. Uncharted is a great game in it's own right and I am sure that it had no inspiration from Gears, Quantum clearly has inspiration from Gears and looks like it plays the same.
@xTruthx - I've seen the E3 stuff, but haven't seen any extended footage i.e. gameplay through a level.
Looks great, but we need to really see gameplay, but the fact that it is a Gears of War clone doesn't really bother me.
Sony needs a Gears of War type game, and if this one is half-decent they at least have one in their portfolio.
Gears of Quantum
Are people actually thinking of buying this non-game? I mean for God's sake this is as bad as WiiFit. This "game" won't even appeal to kids like EyePet, and I'm not saying that will even sell, but it has more potential of selling than Milo.
Molyneux work on a normal game, stop wasting time on a stupid project like this.
If I'm not mistaken, Wipeout HD was also £11.99 and I bought it day one, still one of the most value for money games available. So I expect fat Princess to have a lot more gameplay than the usual PSN title.
Damn Kionic I thought you were just speculating before. So basically the only two games I actually cared about for my 360 are coming in 2010.
...and people call the PS3 delaystation...sigh...oh well hopefully Uncharted 2 and Ratchet should tide me over.
@1.1 - Well not really good news for Xbox only owners though. But if you have more than one console you'll have enough games to buy.
@1.7 - well Sony rescued Square Enix from bankruptcy when Final Fantasy Spirits Within flopped, but look at who they are developing games for.
but yeah i doubt Bungie will make a PS3 game when all of their fans are Xbox owners.
Guys of course this is a GOW clone, but they can afford to do this because Xbox doesn't have a God of War type game, whereas Sony has GOW exclusively and Heavenly Sword which is also kinda similar.
Still this game looks good, but I doubt it'll be as good as GOW. Will be getting both anyway so I don't really care.
Looks good, but the torch looks a little odd, the high-powered beam looks weird. They keep showing dark areas, I want to see the daylight bits.
I hope it's like Silent Hill 1, that was awesome.
@Elven - That just sounds like made up BS. I own a Zune, I had to import it to UK, because MS is to stupid to sell the product over here, and it's great.
BUT Zune isn't meant to have made any profit since it was released, hopefully things turn around for them with Zune HD, but iPod is too huge of a competitor for them to even make a dent.
I love Kaz, but doesn't he normally give this keynote anyway? I mean I know usually Ken Kuturagi is also there, but I'm sure I've seen him in the keynotes before.
Yeah MS and Sony fiscal year end at different times. Sony's ends in March, MS' in June.
You're probably right, but still this is a flamebait article, and I'd like to think that some people have more class than the fanboys that approve these articles.
Of course MS had it's worst time, we're in a recession, I'd be surprised if any company is doing better than they were last year.
Pricecut came in August last year, so it;'s data will not be included in last year's financial results, but this years' instead.
Edit:
I know I'll probably get disagrees, but it's the truth.
As expected, everything is down due to the recession. But just thought I'd mention this bit:
"Xbox 360 platform and PC game revenue decreased $110 million
or 12%, primarily as a result of decreased Xbox 360 console sales and decreased revenue per Xbox 360 console due to price reductions during the past 12 months, partially offset by increased Xbox Live revenue."
So MS is losing money (most likely on each 360 sold) due to their pricecut last year, whic...
Well the first game had no install, so if they need an install it's because the game is trying to do a lot more a lot better, in that case I don't care.
