Woah imagine if they make a Ico collection and add the extra bosses! That would be so worth buying.
I don't think RROD died, it's still a major issue for MS and for consumers. It is less likely to happen on the new Jasper chipsets, but MS said the same thing about all the previous chipsets, so I wouldn't take their word for it.

Anyone that is seeing the amount of awards that Uncharted 2 is getting and has not gone out and bought a PS3 for the game, or the game itself is an idiot.
You will regret it if you don't play this game.
@1.1 - No I have a feeling MW2 will get GOTY, GT are MAJOR MW2 fanboys. In fact, I'd be very very shocked if they gave it to Uncharted 2.
Well erm...I've never played a bad Naughty Dog game (Crash Bandicoot series = best PS1 platformer, Jak & Daxter series = best PS2 platformer, Uncharted series = best games ever), but I have played bad Valve and Bioware games. Half-Life 2 on PS3 was an abomination, and I absolutely hated Dragon Age Origins (sold it after a few hours of play, Mass Effect is a million times better).
Have they just pulled this rumour out of their asses? According to a source...yeah right.
If the game is multiplatform, it is the game that the second studio (that Insomniac set up) is making. That was kinda hinted at a while ago, that it may be multiplat, plus this team has been working on the game since the start of this gen, so they will have had enough development time.

True, but the features are what set the PS3 apart from the 360. I know a lot of people were saying that the Blu-Ray drive in the PS3 was pointless, and should have been left out so the console was cheaper at launch.
However, it obviously was the correct decision on Sony's part because it meant that Blu-Ray won the format war, and is now a major feature for the PS3. It also means that Sony could create 3D games due to the space available, and that the PS3 supports 3D movies.
I hope this happens in UK as well, f***ing Virgin Media throttle your internet even when you aren't using P2P, just doing a normal download!

2010 is locked down to Sony imo, because the have sequels to some of the most anticipated games e.g. GT5, GOW3 and The Last Guardian, not to mention unique experiences such as Modnation Racers, Heavy Rain, and Yakuza 3.
Xbox 360 has some great games next year, and I'm really looking forward to Mass Effect 2, but PS3 is going to win next year on account of Quality AND Quantity. 360 only has Quality going for it, which at least is better than this year...
A game doesn't need millions of sales to be considered a great game, 1 million sales may not have been enough at the start of this gen, but it is now as developers have gotten used to the PS3.
And those who say Sales = Quality are stupid, Shadow of The Colossus, Ico, Okami and Psychonauts are some of the best games ever made, despite not selling too many copies. however, SOTC and ICO did sell about 2.5 million in total, so obviously it was "enough" because they are maki...

Not a big deal really because God of War 3 has already been developed, but is now being QA tested for the next few months. So as long as Bungie are also doing this, then fine. However, I don't expect the game to come in September, it will almost definitely come in November imo.

@1.1 - I think the Xbox 360 was the lead platform, but both version look the same like Resident Evil 5, there are negligible differences where the game looks better or worse on one platform than the other, but one isn't consistently better than the other.
From what I read on another site, MS is going to be reprogramming the code and releasing a different version of office that doesn't use the patented stuff. But they have to pay out $290 million to i4i in compensation.
As I said in another thread, I expect MW2 to win the GOTY award from GT, they are major Modern Warfare fanboys.
