I doubt anything will come of this, but the strange thing is, it makes no sense that other publishers are liable, because they are just making software for a MS device. If anything, the only company who is liable is MS, but even then, the patent is so wide. From what they're saying, even Sony would be liable in some aspects, because the Eyetoy did most of what they're claiming is infringed.
It's more likely actually, that this company is hoping that MS will settle...
I wonder how many people would pay for a DLC that enables trophies in a game. That would give some devs an incentive to patch older games.
Sorry otherZinc, but that is completely different because it is a remake and the company will make money on the purchases of it, so it makes sense to provide new features.
Maybe Sony won't allow something like that, although I was pretty close to getting all the medals in the game, I think I had to get 2 more.
Mouse and Keyboard for FPS and RTS games, controllers for everything else. Mouse & Keyboard is just better in terms of response speed in those genres.
The only difference would be that people would be more angry simply because they pay for online play, whereas on PSN, PS+ has nothing to do with access to online. MS would have probably had to offer 1-2 months of free XBLG to everyone just like Sony did with PS+, dunno if that would have kept people happy though.
I also believe that MS would have gone about the hack the same as Sony. They would have waited until they confirmed an issue, rather than spreading mass hysteria, wh...
It says he's not even an engineer, so he doesn't know what he's talking about tbh.
Even though FF13 wasn't that great, I still enjoyed playing it, and I'm glad to see that this one is coming pretty soon. But I really really would prefer Versus 13 at this point.
I'm going to assume that you connect several PS3s to the same router, and one of the players hosts the match. It wasn't in the beta, so would be interesting to see how it works.
It was for the first couple of years into PS3's release, because the PS3 was still behind, but since 2008, Sony have been had a stellar lineup that puts Nintendo and Microsoft to shame.
It doesn't feel like a survival horror any more. Whilst RE5 was good, all action and no survival horror, other than low ammo, does not make it very good. It would be better if they paced it a bit more, put some decent puzzles in and put a lot more survival aspects in.
Did you ever hold one? I didn't own a Dreamcast (always wanted too though), but the controller was pretty comfortable, probably because the triggers were on the back rather than the top.
Dino Crisis 1 & 2 please
and Wipeout 2097 (unless its already there)
@Nomura - I don't care about any info any more, just give me a release date. That's it, then I will be happy.
This is just the XBL service, NOT the ability to play Xbox 360 games on PC.
@grailly - Yeah the ending isn't AS weird in FF13.
I think I speak for everyone when I say...WTF is this sh*t?
They both look good, but imo, they aren't really comparable.
That would be quite a good idea actually, Burnout gave free DLC for ages, and I still have that game even though I don't play it now.
I usually don't see the need to really pre-order, I mean people pre-ordered MW2 for £50 in the UK, and I bought it day one from the supermarket for £26. What's the point, seriously?
