I'd rather have Halo 3 than Forza, but I'd rather have anything over Halo Wars, such a crap RTS, it's unbelievable, especially when you think that it came from the devs of Age of Empires.
@PCE - I think he's debating the quality of the exclusives. It's his opinion at the end of the day, he's entitled to it, as are you.
Yeah, for console I prefer physical copies, but the convenience of the PSPgo was the reason I bought it. It's truly portable when you don't have to carry around all your games. Those cards M2 cards? if so, I guess there is some hope to upgrading the memory cheaply.
Because Sony are pushing the fact that all games are going to be downloadable.
It HAS to have built in memory because they are pushing the whole full games on the store... Which means it needs to have a hdd or flash memory of some sort day one.
I think after six months I would top a 32gb card easily. And you know if Kojima can push for a bigger cartridge then he will!
You guys are only thinking about people who buy hard copies, which is fair...
Pronoun:
1. Not anything; no single thing
2. Something of no importance or concern
3. (in calculations) No amount; zero
Just trying to be helpful.
But the DS Lite didn't add functionality, it just made it slimmer. And then that was it for a while, then they went crazy with the pointless updates like DSi, DSi XL
This would be completely stupid for Nintendo to do, will completely alienate their initial buyers, aka the hardcore Nintendo fans, which they DO NOT want to do.
Sony only made this option so that they have a wide range of products available at varying prices. If you think about it now, you'd be willing to spend $99 on a PSP as a gift for a child, because it won't matter as much if it gets damaged.
They're obviously still going to offer the PSP-3000 as well at a slightly higher price.
PS3 price was £249 when it was $299, so when they dropped it $50 I expected a £30 cut in UK, but they cut it £50.
Even then though, £199 converts to something like $320
Cole was only a douche if you made him into one though, karma choices and whatnot.
I'm actually a little surprised that we haven't seen a new Wipeout for PS3 this year, but it looks like they're working on PSV only atm.
I've still not even started WKC2, just pretty much installed the game, and then inFAMOUS came out.
But who even cares any more? If it's true, it's more pointless than bringing FF13 to the Xbox 360 almost a year later, because this is over 3 years later.
November will be insane, there are at least 3 games that I need to play (UC3, AC3, and Skyrim), an I also want to play others. So, super-expensive :D
Yeah you still need to download it, they just give you a code for it.
Yeah, I did kinda look at this move and think, what's the point? But I guess, the more options you give consumers, the better it is. They really need to add paypal to the PSN store though, that would be awesome.
What I've noticed about a lot of people who attack Uncharted, is that they don't know that the majority of the things they think are "cutscenes" are actually playable action sequences.
For example when the runaway truck is after you in Uncharted 2, you can actually control Drake, and it isn't just QTE, it's actual proper control, if you mess up, you die. As long as they keep doing things like that, then their "cutscenes" will never be bori...
btw $249 translates to £150, so you're technically still getting a better deal.
Wow, I didn't expect it to go to £199, now it's at an affordable price.
Nintendo has never been able to sustain 3rd party game sales, as is always the case, a few titles take all the sales, and the rest barely sell anything, even if they are unique. I honestly don't see why anyone supports them any more, if you look at some of the third-party exclusives on Wii, some of them sold horribly, when they would have sold significantly more on PS3 or 360 (e.g. MadWorld).
Most of the top-selling games on the Wii are either first-party or casual (or bo...
