This is just reaction to PSVita's dual analog sticks, because Nintendo has seen the great reaction that the PSVita has got for simply having two analog sticks and they want to copy it.
By copying, it means that technically they could get some games becoming multiplat on 3DS/Vita, even though the graphical fidelity on Vita is much better. But I guarantee that that's what they're hoping for, because if you look at the Vita, it offers pretty much every feature that ...
It's PS3 Graphics ARE Dated, not IS Dated.
And yes it's quite obvious that PC will always be ahead of consoles, because no matter what, someone will always have the highest spec PC at all times, but with consoles you're stuck with the same spec.
With that said though, PS3 is no pushover, it can still provide better artistic style in the graphics, even though it may not be able to push the same amount of polygons.

PS3 is actually cheaper than 360 bundles in Australia now so it's no surprise that MS wants to get back into the game. Still, they constantly seem to want to keep a $100 difference in price between them and PS3.
The basic 160GB PS3 is now $350 (AUD), and the basic 4GB X360 is now $250 (after this price cut). PS3 still offers a lot more value for that price point though.
That's pretty, wow. I did say a few years back that Tales had a huge name in Japan and that Vesperia should have released day and date for PS3. Here's a comparison of first week sales:
Tales of Vesperia: 106,500
Tales of Graces: 140,000
Tales of Xillia: 526,000
Namco = Stupid.
I will probably import it too, I imported the original PSP and it worked out to be very cheap. Hopefully it's not region locked.

Nintendo's in big trouble consider their last quarter sales, I wonder how much effect the price cut had on sales in Europe and America, because it was very short-lived in Japan.
PowerVR do mainly low-power high-performance chips, which are perfect for portable devices. So most likely for tablets and mobiles.
@Zir0 - If they're losing money it's because they backed the wrong horses this gen. They've released more RPGs on Xbox 360 than on PS3, which is the worst selling console in Japan. That's just stupid whichever way you cut it. Also, FF has a big enough name that they would make there money back on sales from PS3 easily, FF13 outsold 360 version by a lot, so money is not an issue there.
On topic - They need to try hard, I don't think any developer can try to...
1. Do we really need a story about every game that is banned in the UAE?
2. Who's surprised? Really? The game has female zombies in bikinis, that's why it's banned, the violence is not the reason for the ban.
I thought FF13 was ok, but not as good as it could have been. FF13-2 looks like it will be much better because it has been developed on both platforms at the same time. But still, I'd prefer Versus before anything else because it looks like it will be a better game due to it being developed on a single platform.

@disagreers - It's a fact that when PS3 and 360 have been priced at the same amount, PS3 has always outsold the 360. You saying it wouldn't do the same again when it still offers more value for money due to including a blu-ray player? Consumers just want the cheapest product most of the time, but they aren't stupid.
Yeah, it's got a great addictive quality to it. Hopefully the sequel is a little more polished, and has a day/night cycle.
The 360 is STILL cheaper than the PS3 on some SKUs, so it's no surprise. If the price was exactly the same, then we'd see higher percentage of PS3 sales. Also, the price cut was announced just after mid-August, so only half a month of post-price cut sales are included.
It's Level-5 so I wouldn't be surprised if it does come over. It looks amazing, and it has the potential to sell a lot of units in Japan, they need to promote the fact that Studio Ghibli is involved.
I think the drop will have a huge effect worldwide. PS3 in the UK is now £199, and it received a $200 drop in Australia. It's finally affordable for the average person, so I can see it selling VERY well worldwide. With the US, I dunno, it may or may not sell well, but it all depends on the advertising I'd say.
