I HAVE TRIED TO DOWNLOAD IT BUT WITH NO LUCK.
I agree with you, but just to say that all my gaming buddies whom I have played alongside since the COD4MW game (which started the whole massive COD hype)and have shared many hours of online play with on all the other COD titles, all feel the same about this one. Its going to be a wait before you buy. Even pre-order incentives offer very little to a gamer tbh (unless they throw in the 1st DLC as free). I will most certainly not buy until I am sure others are truly satisfied. But I like your t...
Hype is always a factor, lets not forget the Hype behind TitanFall, GTA V and error proned Diablo III for PC. All huge hypes that led to mediocre results
I know why!! By hyping the game and having such huge media interest, it benefits the sale of the title through pre-orders etc. A developer relies heavily on these commitments from buyers, and importantly on fans of the series. I still feel that this COD title will go over the million mark on launch day, and this is mostly due to a few factors such as 1. What is currently out there for gamers to play; 2. The attraction and genre of the game to fans; 3. How the hype has influenced the minds of ...
This is the typical approach Activision always takes. One would think they would learn by COD Black Ops (Both) and especially Ghosts. That was the quintessential farce for me. I expected so much, not only from the media input on it, but by Activisions continuous launch of the game in media, websites and interviews how Ghost was expected to break records, and be the best achievement they have of all their games. It was quite the opposite. Its not unusual for a developer to market their game, a...
Like I have said from the beginning, it is a fun game, and it has its moments. Its the first time in a while that i have enjoyed playing online with some gamer buddies. its been a welcome addition for my PS4 since the selection is so sparce. I enjoy it because I never over analysed it, but its not to say that I didnt expect more, which I do but I dont see myself playing this beyond the end of the year. Although I hope that changes with the necessary improvements.
I made my console choice some time ago, and PS4 came out on top, but I know a few mates are keen for the XBX1 launch and are buying it. Imagine the day when you can cross platform game.
I will give it an opportunity to be fixed and wont just write it off. I think this has huge potential and yes there are definitely areas I would like fixed but I have also found areas where I want fixes, others found to be perfect and vice versa. Will wait and see if it has true longevity as one would expect from a legitimate MMO.
What is this? A hardcore version of Need for Speed? This is a nice edition to the game and looks like a ton of fun.
I have heard this argument so many times, and frankly I almost wonder why we need to justify the logic around the poor mentality of those few vocal gaming citizens that feels its their right to act in such a boorish and uncouth manner. It is by no means the majority. But like the comments above, I agree that the internet does have a great many people of equally poor minded opinions that say the darndest things that pop into their mind to justify their bad behaviour. Its a blatant disregard fo...
I dont mind having to pay for a solid DLC as long as there are no monthly subs. I believe that Bungie has done really well with Destiny. I think its too soon to tell if its as ground breaking for gamers like a WoW or Dota is, or even a COD4MW was. It needs to be playable in a year from now, with more gamers buying into the game than just the number of copies sold at launch. Everyone had huge expectations for GTA V and its online multiplayer content, but this fell flat rather quickly. I would ...
This is such a catch 22 situation for MS. One the one hand if AG reveals the NPD figures he reveals the sales of the XB1 which could deter other potential XB1 gamers from purchasing the console, or on the other hand not revealing may flame the rumours which are equally as bad since Sony is clearly so open to sharing their numbers. It would be interesting to know as well which of those consoles sold to retailers have actually found homes, both for PS4 and XB1.
I think the important thing to consider is how you view that engine i.e. you can run it at full spec but do so on a 24" screen which doesnt nearly push out the required pixels to make it stunning visually, but the moment you do run it in all its glory, first hand experience showed me just how glorious this game (Destiny) looks.
i have pre-ordered so want to go and collect
Is this going to be contender for GOTY?
i was contemplating buying it, but for now will put it on the back burner. i enjoyed the beta version, but im not sure that i will play this online but thats not a testament to the game, only choosing wisely for now.
Harassment comes in many forms, and gaming is an area where this is clearly being exposed. It is constantly under the microscope because it has been associated with other headlines where violence has occurred especially with youth. This simply means that we believe it is worse but I think its only because there is such a huge focus on it. With the ever increasing improvement of eSports, it will even more so be highlighted. Yes I think that gamers can be "toxic" with their words and ...
Me as well....
looks beautiful
Look, Im a huge PS4 fan since Ive bought my console. i have never been an Xbox fan. I dont like the Windows 8 menu system, but the integration and fluidity of connectivity to PC and all things Microsoft does give it a heads up. I like the look and feel of the console, the controller feels nice and the menu system is nice looking. I think fans of the Xbox will want this one. Only time will tell, when games are released, which one of the two has the better survivability. I think its debatable u...
