So its pointless, yet you read it?? The article speaks to the expectation rather than purely the content. Sure, there are many articles out there that speak of Destiny in a way that makes them all seem like its a big old whine. But its a point of view, shared by someone that plays the game, whether you agree with it or not. If it is pointless to you, so be it, but then when you see the heading, just avoid these types of articles altogether. Save yourself the frustration.
I felt the map system for FC2 & FC3 were way too similar. While I like the shift of day to night, and I really love it, I did find the gameplay monotonous. In saying that, I have been a huge fan of the Far Cry series and in all honesty, will absolutely buy it again.
my son is a huge fan and plays the PS Vita version but also has the movie. Im sure this is something he is going to love.
i absolutely agree with you
It is increasingly difficult to know exactly who to trust. I think that each gamer has that specific person (TotalBiscuit) or website that they absolutely trust with giving them the honest reviews they need to make the right choices. Of course, its a spiralling event when these exposures come to light and we stand there wondering WTF is going!!! I know that as gamers, we want the absolute truth, but lets be real - thats a huge expectation to have.
oh i want this
I cant say im surprised considering how many videos have been posted on YouTube or streamed via Twitch showcasing the entire Raid. If you have ever seen the entry point into the Raid you could understand why in the beginning it was incredibly difficult to find a way through. Then its where the spawn points are for the hordes, and what tactics work best. Also, gamers eventually figures out their best weapons and armor, and special abilities for the characters. Ive done a WoW raid and there is ...
Oh dear...I liked them both because they were competitive. This is not a good thing.
I have read on the Bungie and Destiny forums where gamers are complaining about the connection issues. This isnt specific to any ISP or Region it seems.
There is another big issue which still exists and Bungie havent broached this at all and this is the connectivity issue for gamers worldwide losing or getting disconnected from servers while playing. This is incredibly frustrating when playing through a weekly strike with some mates, and after all the hard work and just about to take out the big boss, when one, two or all three of you get disconnected. I thought this issue would have been addressed, but I havent read anything about it, even t...
I have enjoyed all the games in the series, even the one with the South African mercenaries (which was really funny to hear). The wide open space that one can explore is truly amazing. I am looking forward to this one as well.
LOL - I would so model myself like superman but with a twist....i would be naughty like Lex
If we are talking about having the resources and finances to bring a game to life, then for me I would love a great detective game, in an MMO style where players can play as criminals and build up empires, take each other on and control divisions within a city, or they can take on the role of a detective, working through the ranks. The offline concept will be AI stories and investigations which will unlock better weapons and XP levels (which means they can investigate or find evidence in Onli...
I dont think Sony should dominate the market, but millions of gamers worldwide like their product. You cannot fault us on liking something more than another thing and then say its our fault because this gives the producer of the product market share!!! Sure, by no means would I like one product to be the dominant force as it eliminates the benefit of fair competition, but if the competitors could produce something equally great, then its understandable that the market will be split across the...
And they have the audacity to say its a SLIGHT INCREASE. Maybe in conversion rates, but its ridiculous.
There is no "new" PES
not a huge fan, but loved the in game footage
I agree with you that the missions are absolutely mundane, not to mention the bounties you need to perform whether for Vanguard or the Queen. The strike missions only offer so much, even on heroic. Gear is limited, which is understandable since it shouldnt be too easy to obtain hardcore gear otherwise its open warfare for all. In some instances I can understand grinding, but this game is repetitive, expecting the same grind, with the same missions over and over again with very little else on ...
TBH lets not forget where their biggest competitor may come from in the near future - Mobile gaming sales has increased exponentially, turning the average person into a gamer overnight by offering so a wide berth of games at more cost effective prices. whilst it isnt considered mainstream gaming, its without a doubt a future contender for gaming platform of choice. Im not quite there yet....but who knows.
I agree that its easy to get a group together for a raid. I use Bungie forums #Raid and it works just fine.
